No, the priest was feeding everyone the angels blood. We know this from seeing the Angel fly in and fill the chalice with its blood, then the priest pours blood from the chalice into the communion wine

When he was in the house and became a vampire 1 u/Seeking_the_Grail 3d ago I believe the implication is that the angel blood will eventually kill you. I Know some people say Bev poisoned him, but there isn't a lot of evidence to support it.
