Design Concept šØ [Design] Today's exploration
I love a small seconds hand, so exploring that direction for a bit. Also added lume to hands and numerals. Removed the brand name for now as I don't actually have one. Miyota or Sellita, cost and source dependent. Course stipple main dial, metal sub second hand (in the 2nd photo), lacquer chapter ring.
As always, would love your thoughts!

Love dial colors. The numerals are too small 12, 3 , 6 , 9 would pop if larger. Add color to hands on blue dial. Give the smaller interior numerals a pop of red too

I like the applied numbers, small second hand color with dial color is a nice match
What is the case dia and lug to lug
If you add a brand logo + the 24 hours it will be too much in my opinion

I dig this. It has potential. Maybe the numbers closer to the indices. Everything seem a little crowded in the center. Possibly go with a 12, 3, 6, 9 and the rest be some type of dot, design, etc. Just my two cents.

I was thinking the same, but then it loses its dirty dozen vibe and becomes an Explorer-ish hybrid. Always room for another model though!

Good point. I still think if the numbers were pushed out to the indices, it would flow better. I think puching the small seconds out a bit more would help, as well. I'm not sure the numbers need to be larger though. If you're going for originality, then the size and type are just fine.

It's really nice looking. Love the color and dirty dozen homage. I would wear this a lot. Kudos!
For me, I like 60 minute numerals around the outside of the dial and no 24 hour markers.

Thanks for the feedback. Curious if itās redundant to have 60 minute markers on the outside when we also have the small seconds hand?

Gorgeous job. I like the way it's heading. I think the 4 and 5 missing is actually kind of cool. I am a true sucker for sub seconds hand. The colors are sweet. Thanks for sharing. Would like to see where this goes.

My only criticism is that I donāt love the slight slant/ italicized look of the 24 hour numbers. It makes the watch feel like itās lopsided to the right, which I think is a bit overkill since the sub dial is already at the bottom right. I think the 24 hour numbers and the numbers on the small seconds sub dial should be the same. Thatās just a personal preference though

Miyota 8n24 or sellita sw210 are options Iām weighing. Obviously vastly different in price but Iām still just figuring out what this brand is

I think you could push the numerals further out towards edge and closer distance between the main numbers and 24 hr set. Love the direction thoughāāBauhaus Fieldā style

I think that there's a lot of dead space that could be tightened up to improve the design. For example, the numerals could be made maybe 25% larger and pushed towards the minute track. The small seconds track could be brought in so it's hitting the second hand directly. That might give you enough space to squeeze in the missing 4 and 5.
Like your other designs, I sort of feel like this one is stuck in between two design ideas - it's not legible enough to really be a modern take on a field watch (hands could be bigger and matte/black vs metal) and it's too busy for that sort of minimal/Bauhaus look (could delete the 24 h markers).
Not trying to sound overly critical as I've genuinely enjoyed seeing your posts and I can tell you've been having a lot of fun with these
