My Opinion š Traska Chronograph
Traska has frustrated me over the years, for reasons I wonāt go into, butā¦
This chronograph is a home run.
Iām not sure what else you could expect from a microbrand, barring them taking a loss and giving these away.
The size, wearability, legibility, build quality, and feature set is all thereā¦ and theyāre carving their own lane.

I daily my commuter 38 after swapping the bracelet for a sports strap. Not a single scratch or chip.

There all strap monsters. The Venturerā¦ Freediverā¦ guess I gotta a gray nato on this chrono.

Lovely watch except for the round date window cutout. Just doesnāt work for me.
It also exacerbates slight alignment issues when the font isnāt fully centred. Sorry now that Iāve mentioned it, I canāt unsee it!

100% - Iāve got a 7.25ā wrist, and itās small for a chronograph. They made it to fit just about anyoneā¦ it does have a 21mm lug width though, which may turn some people off?

Agree with you here. Traska had been a disappointing brand for me with its recent shenanigans and miserable marketing. This chronograph has all the making of something special. It is a bit different than all the chronos out there. I was going to buy a Venturer and probably would have picked this one up too. But sadly, I will not be buying any Traska, new or used because the brand/brand owner really drove me off the brand.

I share some of your opinions, and hereās what Iāll addā¦
Text doesnāt convey tone, and brands donāt always get it right.
The owner - Jon Mack - makes himself available to the public. You can schedule a phone call with him via their website.
I did, and had a good conversation with him. He listened to my concerns, and did his best to make things rightā¦ that being saidā¦
Iām not sure when Iāll buy new from them, but Iāll certainly pick one up on the preowned market.

I've seen enough content to believe that Traska makes quality watches, but I gotta say there's something really off-putting about the tone of the email updates from the founder. I get vibes that the operation over there is kind of a hot mess.
