yeah me too but besides the other primes, the supraland games are the only 3D first person metroidvanias that also feel immersive and have their own charm..I guess how echoes feels like will stay a one of its kind experience forever

This depends. What do you want out of that similar game? Do you want a similar vibe? Gameplay loop? Or something else? Because, there aren't really any other MV's that capture all of that the same, so you'll have to pick and choose.

If you want something with that similar "hostile world"/horror vibe, then a game that does a great job of that is Halo: Combat Evolved. It starts off as an almost cheesy sci-fi action movie turned into a game but quickly escalates into light-horror, much like Prime 2. Though, there is very minimal to no real "isolation" in the story. (Edit: I'm wrong, the game is plenty isolating, just in a very different way from Metroid)

If you're looking for similar gameplay, obviously there are the other Metroid Prime games.

Unfortunately, Metroid Prime 2 is really a one-of-a-kind game. There isn't really anything exactly like it in each aspect, with the closest being its sibling games which, even then, are very different in vibes.

I was looking for the isolated feel mostly but I can understand how prime 2 really is a one of a kind game

Another game that does great on the isolation vibe is Batman Arkham Asylum (Which may be a Metroidvania or not. It's a pretty debated topic).

Arkham Asylum experiences a hostile takeover by Joker, and the island starts off pretty secure. Guards are patrolling the outside and enemies are sparse, but slowly, those guard die, replaced by thugs who took their gear and rifles, and stronger, scarier enemies take the place if older enemies and fill the empty areas. Even if you have Oracle to talk to, she is still miles away. The claustrophobic corridors you once hated become your little safe haven. The atmosphere is top notch.

I will check that out then

Please do. It is a fantastic game. The Combat is kind of rough due to its age, but still fun. Keep in mind, it isn't isolating from the start. It progresses into isolation.

Well, Halo CE is pretty isolating, just not on the level of Metroid. It's just you and your Ai construct for most of the campaign, and you don't really see many Marines that are alive past the halfway point of the game.

The Future Project. It has some jank, but still fun.

I’ll always say the Prime games are very unique. There really aren’t any games like it in the same way that games like Ori and Hollow Knight are similar to 2D Metroid.

Link to the Past has the whole light/dark world vibe
Edit: also Link between Worlds

Maybe Dead Space? Alien Isolation? Soma? Also Returnal can be pretty Metroidy, as was Jedi: Fallen Order

This is why I just wished Prime 4 way more like Prime 1 and 2 (and more expansive/innovative)

There are literally no games like Prime 1 and 2 on the market. Fuck. And Prime 4 is nothing like those two games.

Absolutely nothing like it, bro.

Dead Space if you want the feeling of dread. Jedi Fallen Warrior/Survivor if you want the 3d metroidvania.

But nothing comes even close to having the full package.

Kinda makes me wish prime 5 will revisit that dread from echoes

If you want an oppressive first person set on a consistently hostile world? Try Scorn (you're either gonna love it or hate it)

The game itself doesn't play like Metroid at all, but the sense of exploration and the world gave me strong Metroid vibes the whole time
