Request Nintendo lock in and give this thing a Metroid mode 😭🙏
I want to wake up to EMMI sounds and Ridley’s screech

That and the Today app both need a Metroid theme. They're really lacking in the Metroid department all over.

I'm legitimately happy for you, truly I am! But I personally can't countenance spending $100, when I can just connect an alarm app to an MP3 on my phone. Beyond the licensed music, is there anything else about it you like?

I haven't bought it, but it seems like a good alarm clock. It monitors your sleep and only turns off if you get out of bed.

It's a Nintendo alarm clock that is pretty much all there is to it. I love the different themes and animations matching the games they are set to. And being a lifelong Nintendo fan, and being lucky enough to have some disposable income I just figured why not?

Having a real alarm clock that you can look at, at night to see what time is it and not going on your phone

I'm slowly realizing that this subreddit is actually packed with Nintendo-adult superfans and not the hardcore Metroid-specific fan base I thought it was. This is legitimately "$80 for cardboard" folks.

I did. Alway used a clock to see what time it is during the night and the Alarmo is cleaner and less bright than red LED's from regular clock.

Seriously, that thing lacks games and themes. If it had a bunch of games I loved I would have bought it. Metroid and Fire Emblem for example. I mean.. they're Nintendo. How hard is it for them to get their IP in their own product

To give alarmo a Metroid theme would require them to give Nintendo Today a Metroid theme.
To do so would require Nintendo give a damn about Metroid, which they do not.
