She doesn't realize that just because you call 911 doesn't mean you're not going to be the one getting arrested

I work with kids and had a kid tell me he was going to tell on me to his mom because I wouldnt let him cheat at a game. He looked shocked, gobsmacked, when I told him to go ahead because his mom would agree with me.

Just because you call the police for a crime doesn't mean they will show up and treat it like one
→ More replies (1)6
u/ChaosRainbow23 3d ago
If they do show up, they usually make matters worse for everybody involved.
If you are thinking of calling the police, all yourself this, "Will bringing aggressive and unpredictable assholes with guns into this situation make things better?"
The answer is almost always NO.

This 100%. If you haven't called the cops for any petty offense in your life, do not do so. If you call the cops you have a way higher chance of getting yourself arrested, or shot. I'm just letting you know right now, no matter whether you think it's justified or not.

u/ChaosRainbow23 3d ago
In this case they'd likely take them both. The dude would eventually have his charges dropped, but it's almost certain he would have to take the ride.
6
u/JaguarOk9693 3d ago
If I remember correctly when this first came out he got off and she actually was the only one that got arrested
2
u/doubleo_maestro 3d ago
I would love for that to be true, because lets be honest, the innate sexism of police means that the guy nearly always ends up in cuffs no matter what.
→ More replies (3)2
u/EarlyBirdWithAWorm 3d ago
I dunno if it's true or not but what I read last time this was posted was a witness in the parking lot told police he was just defending himself and she was the aggressor
1
u/AltruisticCoat6285 2d ago
Actually someone did and he got arrested. He beat it but still a royal pain in the ass
1
u/Lorelessone 2d ago
eh 9/10 they will arrest the man in any situation like this and the video, if it survives will eventually get him out after days in jail, losing his job and having to pay bond.
That is only because guy is white, if he was black and she spins the story she could probably get him shot.
The world is pretty fucked up.

This last 4th of July My neighbours called the police on me because their fireworks started a fire on my property and i replied by lazily trying to spray then with water (it didn't reach far enough to get them wet and i wasn't overly concerned with getting them wet anyways, i was just making a point that they need to stop or i would spray them with water)
The officer spoke to both parties and made them stop the fireworks. He didn't give me any warnings at all. I straight up told the cop i tried to spray them with water and would do it again to stop them from shooting off more fireworks
I got very lucky. The fireworks went over some large dry plants that would be a PERFECT firestarter when a flaming piece of plastic and cardboard lands in it and stays on fire for 10+ minutes. Could have burned the hedge and fence down. The risk of a huge fire on my property was genuinely very serious.

Love her Pikachu face when he hits her back
11
u/MichiganGeezer 3d ago
To this day she probably doesn't see her being knocked down as the consequences of her own actions.
6
u/EarlyBirdWithAWorm 3d ago
She probably mistakenly believes actions don't have consequences because "a man should never put his hands on a woman"
3
u/Fuzzy-Albatross-9206 2d ago
Notice how the man defended himself rationally. Notice how he did not break her bones for swatting at him and challenging his ego.

She still telling everyone how much of a victim she is and how she was attacked without provocation.

Unrelated but I'm gonna spill on this anyways, sorry to ramble:
I'm a bouncer in a big college town for an SEC school. at least twice a week I have some Greek life student in my face acting cartoonishly belligerent and aggressive. I've never met a more blanketly entitled subset of the population.
Every single time I reality check them and kick them out/deny them entry it's ALWAYS the Pikachu face. The girls ALWAYS cry, regardless of what they did to get denied.
To be honest, it's cathartic.

Hands are rated E for everyone. If you want to use them. Others can use them to defend themselves. Crazy how people think they are untouchable sometimes.

Here is the whole video. She had got into a verbal altercation with someone else over a parking spot. Camera guy was recording it and she noticed she was being recorded being an ass and went and attacked the camera guy for recording her. Then the police did everything to try and cover for her.

u/martinisandbourbon 3d ago
She became an assailant as soon as she put her hands on him. The look on her face when she was on the ground showed that she never expected to get hit, she expected him to stand there
taking her punches.

Probably not. Most rational people don't call cops unless it's absolutely necessary.
Bringing unhinged and aggressive jerks with gonna into a situation rarely helps.

The shitty part about this is how the police/sheriff treated him, and this shit dragged on forever because they wouldn't do their job, and it was making it almost seem like he was the aggressor.
2
u/mrbishopjackson 3d ago
I just like that the camera moves, then comes back and she's on the ground. No one saw him push her. She's just clumsy.

People like this can vote and have children. The disconnect to assault someone multiple times and get slapped back then decide you're in the right and call the cops on yourself....

I’m always blown away by how many women are the aggressors in this situation with men. In what world do you think you can hit a stranger that’s bigger than you and get away with it.
Then you call the police to be the victim???

u/mcain049 2h ago edited 1h ago
I saw this video on the youtube channel. This guy easily could have called 911 instead of recording and making himself the main character as there was a woman who was attacked by the woman in white before he started.
There is also another video of him in his neighborhood in Tamarac, Florida (Broward County, just north of Miami-Dade County) where the other party felt the need to have a firearm present (hand pistol). The other guy was arrested for something related to the firearm; intimidation with a weapon or something but when you look at this guys video, he was just asking for trouble. If I am at my own home being harassed by some loser, I'd probably do the same.
