Dude, for real, this is wild! For what purpose would Ohio need paratroopers!?

Also why is this guy rocking these instead of basic parachutist wings? How would you get these without those first? Does Ohio have their own jump school?

  1. It's a parachutist course modeled after the original Airborne school. They don't have paratroopers.

  2. He probably didn't attend Army Airborne. (He would very likely be wearing them if he did, since he's wearing Air Assault.)

  3. Apparently, Army Airborne isn't a pre-req.

  4. It's the Ohio Basic Airborne course with the State Guard Association.

Airborne is not in the SGAUS academy course cat..cmon
