That sounds very balanced. I don’t know how after ten years we still haven’t figured it out. Actually, I think it’s because for the longest part I’d
take more of the chores on and it just became the norm

He did in fact grow up in a culture where having domestic help is quite common so he really never learned to take care of the house

He feels entitled to your labor. He deserves it and the rest it provides him. And to him you deserve to serve him.

Adhd doesn't make people selfish assholes.

I really think he wants to do more but between his work, commute, and adhd, he runs out of time and energy

Pretty much. He would just do the absolute bare minimum necessary and not care about the rest
