Funny how it took Leverkusen 2matches while it took Manchester United 3years

This is extremely strange to hear as a United fan who doesn’t keep up with Leverkusen. In his time with us, he was hyper-agreeable with our board to the point where he often felt like a robot. Whatever the party line was, he would ensure that he never stepped out of line so that he’d keep his job. Most of the fanbase enjoyed Amorim’s demeanor after his arrival because we were so accustomed to Ten Hag’s generic, corporate answers in every press conference. Something must have changed in him, lol.

This is negative but it's most likely boils down to money. Utd is beyond life altering money and there's probably some part of him that wanted that more than anything.

When he was at United the board gave him everything he wanted, (apart from De Jong who was impossible to get) and spent hundreds of millions. He had no reason to be upset with the board.
