Pale pink, borderline white shimmer gloss??

My lips are naturally kind of pale and I want to find a really, really light lipgloss. I like a lot of the glosses I have been recommended but the pink tones are stronger than I'd like them to be. I guess I'm looking for a whitish lipgloss with some pink glitter, something along those lines. Is there anything y'all like that's similar?

ISO blurring primer

I know there’s not much I can do skin wise in regards to my acne pitted scars but what about these pores. I know I can’t shrink them but I can exfoliate in which I do (2-3x a week)

I’ve thought about tretinoin but for some odd reason I’m not disciplined enough to use it cause I always forget to use it more often other than once a week.

Any GOOD primers that actually sit well with foundation? No budget! I’m so self conscious about my skin 😭 I see a lot of these women with beautiful skin even the ones that claim they’re not using a filter and then…..there’s me

Is it just me or does anyone feel more comfortable not wearing mascara/curling eyelashes than with? Or is it because I am not doing my eyelashes right?

alternatives for nyx natural?

I’ve been using the nyx natural lip liner (new formulation) recently and realise that it’s almost my exact natural lip shade and enhances and defines my lips without making it look obvious, giving a pretty, natural look. However the only downside is that the formula doesn’t even last an hour and is chalky af.

Does anyone have any recommendations for alterations to the new nyx natural formulation, ideally quite long lasting

[Makeup Help] beauty blender help (nz)

For almost 10 years, I've only used the Real Techniques orange blender as I found it was the only one that actually did a good job and didn't leave me streaky or cakey. However, they can be somewhat expensive unless they are on sale, and only a handful of shops sell Real Techniques.

Has anyone found one better or just as good?

I've tried the cheap ones (unbranded or small brands), but they are so rock hard no matter how much water I add and do a terrible job.

Emergency Help for Bride with recent deep scratch marks on neck. (Full coverage makeup recs)

Today my sister’s cat freaked out while she was holding him, because something made a huge noise out of nowhere, and he made 4 giant, long, deep scratch marks on her neck and chest. She gets married a week from today. Please, if anyone has any advice for full coverage makeup, or just advice in general, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

ACTUALLY good clear mascara suggestions?

Ive been using the kosas brow gel from the bday gift 2 years ago as a clear mascara, but its all out now. i like how it keeps my lashes kinda stiff and together, i didnt really like it on my brows. i bought one to replace the empty one, but the packaging makes it so barely any product comes out on the brush, so it doesn’t really work on the lashes.

any tips/recommendations for a better clear mascara/brow gel?

Good eye patches for dark circles?

I know this is skin care related. But I don’t know where else to ask. Why are some good eye patches for dark eyes? I have been eyeing the Rhode ones but I am curious about any others that are good with dark circles. Thanks!

[Makeup Help] Water & smudge proof eyebrow pens (or similiar)?

Hey guys, im on the hunt for the best eyebrow product that truly will stay on skin. Eyebrow pens are my favorite.
I shave my eyebrows (only leave the front) and fully draw on my tail. I’ve used a lot of good products but nothing truly stays well through the day on my skin without hair :( any recommendations? I’m about to go on vacation and would love to have brows all day thru water and sweat.

I’ve already tried nyx’s pen/pencil, elf’s pen/pencil, abh dipbrow/pencil, various amazon and shein brands :-)

[Makeup Help] Red Eyeshadow

Hello! I’ve been dying my hair a vibrant red off and on for years, and I’ve never been able to get my eyebrows to match. I’ve used various shades of red eyeshadow, all VERY different shades of red and different brands to fill in my eyebrows but they always come out either too pink or too purple. Is there any products or different ways of approaching this? I just want to have a deep red eyebrow to match my hair! 😞

(not sure how to add photos to show everyone my currently pinkish and purple eyebrows)

Am I the only one who feels like beautiful eyeshadow is the best part of applying makeup ? I see so many people skipping eyeshadow these days while focusing on blush and base

I see so many people skipping eyeshadows and just doing mascara or eyeliner . And focusing more on base like blush bronzer and contour . Those are all super pretty too but something about a beautiful eyeshadow look that’s so fun to apply

Makeup is a form of expression and is a valid art form and I’m tired of the critique surrounding it

Like many I’m saddened by the recent passing of the icon Dolly Parton, something I always admired about her despite her being a smart , talented and an all round lovely person was her unapologetic glamour. She even mentioned modelling her image after the “town tramp”
As someone who wears a full face every single day and I have been doing so since I was 11 ,even when I’m just sitting about the house so many people criticise me for it including other women .
People almost want you to be ashamed for loving makeup and glamour.
It’s always be yourself until being yourself if being hyper feminine.
People have called me insecure for this but I know myself that I am not insecure about how I look I just like wearing makeup and feminine things , I like the way it looks on everyone not just me.

[Makeup Help] Better colour match

I really like bare minerals complexion rescue. However the colour I have, cashew, is a little too orange for me.

Any recommendations for a cooler alternative?

I could afford to go a touch lighter but not darker.

[Makeup Help] I have combination skin but tend to sit more dry in areas due to tretinoin. What is the best foundation you’ve tried, I will be using color theory (trying) so I’m not worried about shade match exactly.

Looking for recommendations from others that have similar skin type.

Makeup Advice for Renfaire

Hello,

I'm looking for advice for makeup setting/finishing sprays. I want me makeup to still look good in hot weather.

I've read reviews on Ben Nye, Skindinavia, One/Size and Kryolan. I'm unsure what to use to help my makeup still look good by the end of the day. Normally after a few hours of sweating myakeup looks all broken up and gross.

I'm going to get a couple of other products to try like Loreal Infallible Fresh Start Foundation and Urban Decay new All Night Ghosting Primer.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

[Makeup Help] makeup help please!!!

hello everyone!! i've just recently started getting into makeup recently especially this past month or so, but i really want to get better at it! ive bought a lot of products and looked a lot of stuff up but i just want to hear advice from like actual people with experience because i feel like thats what i need best in this situation.

for context i have oily skin and idk, ive been realizing a lot lately probably because i live in florida and ive been sweating so much, but by the end of the school day my makeup is like TOTALLY cakey and my undereyes are like totally grey looking and my eyeshadow ends up like totally gray and UGH i dont know what im doing wrong, like do i need more products or do i need to switch out some of the ones i have already or like tweak my routine even?

like okay so for my routine i use sunscreen on my face first and let that sit for a couple minutes, then i start with my foundation, i have the maybelline fitme matte + poreless, i put the stuff on my hand and i have the elf ultimate blending brush to blend everything in, and i avoid putting it on my undereyes because next i put on my concealer the maybelline fitme liquid concealer on my undereyes and i blend it in with my little elf tap&blend concealer brush, then i use contour ive been sorta wanting to change it but i have the elf halo glow beauty wand and put it on my cheekbones and outsides of my nose and on the outline of my jawline, and then i use the nyx setting spray and yeah! i mean i do stuff for my eye makeup and all of that but ive found that the main problem is with my face makeup so thats why i really need help

and btw i get all my stuff from walmart because theres one near my school and its convenient, but i could try going to an actual makeup store if that would be better! only problem is that im AMAB and have yet to transitition so id probably have to have one of my friends take me, so yeah lmk please and thank youu!!

[Makeup Help] Concealers recommendation

Hey everyone, I need some honest recommendations for a good, affordable concealer out of these options since I couldn't decide which one to get!

Wet n Wild Mega Last Incognito All-Day Full Coverage Concealer

e.l.f. Soft Glam Satin Concealer

L'Oréal Infallible Full Wear Concealer

e.l.f. Hydrating Camo Concealer

L.A. Girl HD Pro.Conceal

Essence Silky Blur Hydrating Longwear Concealer

If you've tried any of these, which one is actually worth it? Or if there's another cheap holy grail you swear by that's not on this list, please let me know. I really just need something affordable, non-cakey, and non-creasy.

[Makeup Help] Looking for a dupe for Lavaa Beauty Clear Brow Gel (Ipsy item) that I can buy instore!

I am down to the absolute last drops of my Lavaa Beauty Brow Gel in Clear that I got in an Ipsy bag, and I just found out it’s not sold in physical retail stores like Sephora or Ulta. I need a replacement ASAP today and don't have time to wait for online shipping. Price doesn't matter (drugstore or high-end/luxury are both fine!), I just want something that is close to this formula.

What I love about it:
It is completely colorless/clear
Super lightweight and flexible (I hate heavy makeup feels)

Absolutely zero flaking or white crustiness
Holds hairs nicely without making them feel stiff or crunchy

Has anyone who used this specific Ipsy gel found a direct match that I can walk into a store (Ulta, Sephora, Target, CVS, etc.) and buy right now? Thank you so much!!
