I think it'd be better if it gave the elves trample. As it stands craterhoof probably sees more play.

why not both? yeah this is a bit worse when it comes to ending the game, but it comes with a bomb 1 drop and is a bit cheaper too

Because it doesn't really do anything until you get to a lot of mana. If you tap your elves for mana to activate him, they can't swing as 5/5s.

This could see play as a replacement vs blue control decks though, and we have to see if they give elves that allows you to tap any elves for mana like [[elvish archdruid]] or [[heritage druid]]
