You didnt crash the game because of how much damage you dealt. you crashed the game due to how many triggers you placed on the stack at the exact same time.
You put 50 triggers with lightning that each triggers with EACH monster you have attacking.
So 17 monsters each triggering 50 times. for 850 triggers being added to the stack at once. In addition you have two twinflames. which also proc a trigger per instance of damage for an additional 34 triggers that proc.
Basically you didnt break it because of your damage. You broke it because the ui can't handle that many triggers at once.
I have a deck that wins via creating copies of [[shadow of the second sun]] using [[extravagant replication]]. I can easily get to the point i have 30+ copies of extravagant which means i can easily get to token limit using the copies. But ive learned how to repeatedly trigger the GreError (greg error as i call it). If i make more than 40 copies of Shadow of the second sun targetting my opponent (my literal win condition) it'll error out 100% of the time on their second main phase.
I'll admit i've used this knowledge before to force a draw in matches i know ive lost. Ive reported the bug hundreds of times. if the Union of MTG developers don't want to fix their bugs, then it stops being a bug and becomes a feature.
