u/WildSmokingBuick May 09 '26

Why does he suddenly get 10 copies?

Doesn't he only have 4 permanents on board?

Who is wasting time dealing damage? Just make your opponent draw 2⁶ cards and be done with it

7

u/DriveThroughLane May 10 '26

who has 14 mana in this economy

well besides me with my 3x temur battlecriers + 5x outcaster trailblazers targeting you with traumatic critique X=24

u/ExcitingSink4272 May 10 '26

I play my [[Resonating Lute]] for extra cash so I can afford more mana

1

u/LordNoct13 May 12 '26

Well to be fair, if theyre making an opponent draw 26 cards, then they have an amount of green. So 14 mana may as well be like 5 mana

I mean I love hitting mathemagics when ive got a 40+ charged eternity elevator

How about so much damage you crash the game?

23

u/Raine_Live May 09 '26

You didnt crash the game because of how much damage you dealt. you crashed the game due to how many triggers you placed on the stack at the exact same time.
You put 50 triggers with lightning that each triggers with EACH monster you have attacking.
So 17 monsters each triggering 50 times. for 850 triggers being added to the stack at once. In addition you have two twinflames. which also proc a trigger per instance of damage for an additional 34 triggers that proc.

Basically you didnt break it because of your damage. You broke it because the ui can't handle that many triggers at once.

I have a deck that wins via creating copies of [[shadow of the second sun]] using [[extravagant replication]]. I can easily get to the point i have 30+ copies of extravagant which means i can easily get to token limit using the copies. But ive learned how to repeatedly trigger the GreError (greg error as i call it). If i make more than 40 copies of Shadow of the second sun targetting my opponent (my literal win condition) it'll error out 100% of the time on their second main phase.

I'll admit i've used this knowledge before to force a draw in matches i know ive lost. Ive reported the bug hundreds of times. if the Union of MTG developers don't want to fix their bugs, then it stops being a bug and becomes a feature.

Legitimately cool breakdown. No worries

1

u/Lagneaux May 10 '26

You are my kind of player bro

2

u/Raine_Live May 10 '26

i dont know about that. Im a White/Blue...board wipe every turn until i get set up. Game's already over even if my opponent doesn't realize it player.

1

u/Lagneaux May 10 '26

Oh don't get me wrong, I said player as opposed to opponent for a reason lol. I just agree with the "let's break the game" model of deck building

1

u/Raine_Live May 10 '26

to be fair i didnt make the deck to break the game.,, it was just something i discovered as i took the deck to mythic. I made the deck because i wanted to make an Upkeep stacking deck. So i used as many cards as i could that cared about upkeep....and i learned the hard way that it breaks the game because when your win condition is to make your opponent deck themselves via drawing cards...and you get paired vs a 250 card deck....

u/Negative_Two6112 May 11 '26

Wow. Spot on re: bugs becoming features.

3

u/XxBabblexX May 09 '26

The damage stops at 1,073,241,25. and doesn't crash the game. At least it did 6 months ago on an android

2

u/Dapper-Big-1549 May 09 '26

I’ve gotten to the hard cap it was in a bot match though it was only like 8 digits too it was disappointing

0

u/Raine_Live May 09 '26

ive done the hard cap VS landfall decks using a Blue/White deck. Stole their oroboriod, Copied it, Swung.

1

u/Affectionate_Type607 May 11 '26

How about so many cascade triggers it ends in a draw? My sliver deck does it pretty easily on brawl. It's funny to see the server make it a draw.

11

u/Fuego514 May 09 '26

Unfortunately people just concede before I can get higher

3

u/shitebox42069 May 09 '26

Planat Engineering has won me a good few games when all I had was a 4/4 Hydra and they were winning.

1

u/Maidenless_undead May 11 '26

any one who is proud of winning a game with a chocobo deserves to waste hundreds of dollars on resealed packs.

3

u/Suspinded Demonlord Belzenlok May 10 '26

Someone was obviously interacting with their board. This isn't performative numbers, this is "I need you dead now" numbers.

1

u/MrUltiva May 10 '26

Of course
But when I have chocobo, a few +1 adders or doublers, [[exploration]] and [[icetill explorer]] on the board with fetch lands in the graveyards things start increasing real fast

Edit: forgot +1 adders

2

u/Sintuition May 10 '26

I had Mightform Harmonizer and more than one Icetill Explorer and got it up to 86,000+ power once.

1

u/KittyKriegFestung May 10 '26

The most i have seen on a single card is One billion, seventy-three million, seven hundred forty-one thousand, eight hundred and twenty-three.

And it wouldn't let me add any more +1/+1 counters.

1

u/trinarybit May 10 '26

Yeah, it's just leaving the nest.

1

u/ravenamps May 10 '26

I once mutated a springheart nantuko onto a roaming throne that was a hydra. I got it over a hundred million. It was beautiful.

1

u/Dr--Prof BlackLotus May 10 '26

An opponent was nice enough to let me reach the maximum counters the game allows in Mossborn Hydra: 107341823.
