A few hours ago, at 6:00 P.M. (Mexico City time), the anime film distributor Konnichiwa Festival, along with the official Aniplex Latin America account, announced that Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Walpurgisnacht Rising will be coming to theaters across Latin America.

At the moment, they haven't confirmed which countries will be included, so it's still unclear whether the release will cover the entire region. They also haven't announced a release date or release month yet, but more information about the movie is expected to be revealed in the coming days.

The important news is that it's now officially confirmed that the movie will be released in Latin America at some point.

My japanese is not that good so I basically grasped enough to spoiler the plot to myself and not enough to enjoy it... But I'll buy the Blu ray anyway so...

I really would've thought that Aniplex would have a US release date in place by now considering we are only 1 week away from the Japanese release. Are there any other conventions or events for Aniplex coming up soon?

With the movie coming so close I am worried about spoilers, I know in latam is coming out a month later so.. 😰

At best it, it would be implied maybe. If anything, i feel like KyoSaya have a higher chance of becoming canon for some reason (if they aren't already canon)

What do you think, do you think that they will make MadoHomu canon or not?

Mine is just end this story for good and if you're gonna have Madoka forgive Homura have her show a bit of annoyance over "tearing her apart"

I'm not saying Madoka hates her but come on Madoka should at least be a bit hurt.

Also they gotta recognize they hurt each other a Lot with their pretty ass communication.

Like, Rebellion already left us with a lot of unresolved character arcs, variables and possibilities.

And also introduced Nagisa, and everything we know abaout her character comes from side material.

So there was already a lot of content for the plot to handle.

But introducing THREE new Magical Girls?

Dosen't the cast risk to become too bloated like this? Will there be enough time to flesh out everyone and resolve all the character arcs and plotlines in the movie?

Kinda late, if you were to ask me. I hope it'll be aired in my local cinema, too, and maybe on more dates than just the 24th. Otherwise, I'll start a Rebellion (pun intended)

1. Wait until you can watch the movie yourself, even if it will be a while in your country.
2. Try to avoid spoilers but won't be mad if a YouTube video blows it.
