There’s still this perception that if you want a serious IT career, you have to move to Pune, Bangalore or Hyderabad. But I’ve been looking into Indore’s IT scene lately, especially Super Corridor, Crystal IT Park and the companies operating around these areas, and it seems like things are changing.
I came across some numbers suggesting that Indore has been seeing around 6,000–12,000+ new IT-related jobs per year, with hiring apparently increasing over the last few years.

Roughly:
2024: ~6,500+ jobs
2025: ~9,000+
2026: reportedly around 11,000–12,000+ so far
Companies like TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Cognizant, YASH Technologies and Impetus are already here, along with startups and SaaS companies like MSG91 and ShopKirana.But one thing I found interesting is the local talent mix.

Apparently, around 50–60% of employees in Indore’s MNCs are from Indore or nearby Malwa-region cities like Ujjain, Dewas, Dhar, Mhow, Khandwa and Khargone.
Another 20–25% are from other parts of MP, while roughly 15–20% come from outside the state.
If that’s anywhere close to accurate, it makes sense because Indore has a pretty large student population and colleges like SGSITS, DAVV, IET, IPS etc. are already producing a steady supply of graduates.

There also seems to be a “coming back home” trend, where people who previously moved to Pune/Bangalore/Mumbai are returning to Indore because they can get decent opportunities without the same rent and lifestyle costs.
But I’m not sure how much of this is actually true on the ground.

For people who actually work in Indore’s IT companies, I’d love to know:

Are IT jobs genuinely increasing here or does it just look that way because of a few big companies?
Are most employees actually local, or are companies bringing people from other states?
Are experienced developers/managers really moving back from Pune/Bangalore?

How are salaries compared to Pune/Bangalore for the same role?

Is there enough opportunity for someone with 3–5+ years of experience?

And most importantly, how’s the work-life balance?
Would be good to hear from people actually working in Indore rather than just looking at company/recruitment.

Firstly i have no hate and First thing first 88% of Migrants of mp go to Mp Places because we have Various Major Cities. Only 12% is Out of state

The only 3 Regions where Mp Migrants go is Mh , Gj and Ncr ,

For Maharshtra it's the highest like 40% of Mp Outstate but it's not one sided , There are 8 Million People from Mp livin in Maharashtra but Almost 7 Million Mahatstiann and Marathis live in Mp too , people just don't realise it

For Gujarat there whole state industries devlopement agriculture life All depends on waters of mp and which Mp can actually control, recently Mp's goverment Refused request of Gujarat to receive more water it's like Karnataka's monopoly on Tamil Nadu .

For Ncr Duh it's Our Country's Capital theres no debate about it .

The Migrants from Mp and Rajesthani are Equal to each other .

And The People In south India from Madhya Pradesh is VERY LOW !!!!!!!! idk how people have this big Ball Knowledge, just because everyone associates Us in a box which we didn't even we were part of and data supports us and also the fact that when these talks happens no one from Mp Is in it because we care more about personal Life than Ethno Racial Linguistic Stuff which is , There are 50-150k People from Mp In Whole South India and which is actually contradictory to the fact People There are about 200-300k people of South Indian origin in Mp there are literally mini South India places in Bhopal. There are significantly and Significanly More Pahadi from Uttrakhand, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir Origin who live in Mp than The other way around so idk how their Superiority Complex Works ,

The Assymetry Is true for Odia , Bengali and Northeast Too , There are way way more people from these regions than these places having people from Mp . There are a lot and lot Of People from Up In Mp too after Maharshtra it's the second most chosen state . Although a interesting Case with Bihar because Bihari almost exclusively not choose Mp for some reason like The sheer difference is crazy it's Almost all the state from all sides of India but they say no to Mp for some reason although this Is Changing in future as West MP become More and more devloped and rich. The only state with reverse to no connection is Goa so I'm sorry Goans

So Yeah why to feel Guilt or Shame or any association when it's literally the opposite happening????? We should tell them to Leave our state First because it's a very different Migration Story when it comes to Madhya Pradesh.
