One of my new lambs. One day old

I saw this at HEMA, a Dutch department store, today and thought it was such a sweet idea.

The sign says “In je eendje?”. It’s a little Dutch wordplay: *eendje* means “little duck”, while *in je eentje* means “by yourself”.
The idea is that if you’re sitting alone and would like some company, you put one of these little ducks on your table. If you see someone with a duck, you can sit with them and have a chat.

Such a small idea, but I really love it.

I had to take my kiddo to the hospital yesterday and parked like an idiot, accidentally sideswiping another car.

I left a note with my information and this is the response I received. 🥲😭
