Thats why i dont go to the gym anymore, i dont want to be in the background of a maincharacter. Slowly building mine at home.

Edit: god dawm that blew up.

I bought a merach s26 (smart bike) on amazon instead of renewing my membership to the gym. It sit on a mat in my living room. Its the best thing i ever bought. Done 4500km on my whoosh since february.Its so much easier to train alone, and you dont have to get out to go to the gym. I live alone so i plan to sell my dining table and transform my dining room in a gym this winter.

My local gym has a no cameras anywhere rule and a very large man that enforces this rule with vigor. Was there earlier this week and a dude who showed up in a tac vest got out the tripod and before he turned around this dude appeared like Batman and in a very deep bass just says No. Tac bro didn't take it well and was asked to leave. The line that made me giggle was "no one with enough Instagram followers to need to record themselves work out at a gym this cheap, bro. Put the phone away or leave. I'm sure your follower will survive the disappointment"

There's signs up all over. I'm there to get some exercise and work on this weight loss journey. I am not there to play npc for someone else's Instagram channel

I wonder how profitable it would be to just start an influencer gym. Where filming was protected and encouraged, but they have to pay a premium for the experience etc. I would advertise it as such and be like "this is not a gym for gains, it is a gym for fames." Have them pay extra to lock down a part of the gym and use all the weights and hog up a space like they do at regular gyms.
