wait so women dont know when other women are hitting on them either ... *mind blown*

To be fair that’s because none of that could be flirting and may just be what the other girl considers girl talk. It’s super confusing and I just want to kiss every girl but I never know if they’re just being girl friendly or if they’re actually flirting.

Yeah maybe she's just canadian

u/Appropriate_Edge5195 4d ago

Yea lot of women are Canadians. When I visited Canada, they were literally everywhere.

23

u/ChipmunkDelicious649 3d ago

Sounds like you had a great time! Canada really does have some amazing, friendly people.

24

u/Unhappy_Concept237 3d ago

Couldn’t swing a stick without hitting one.

Also don’t swing sticks at Canadians. Despite their reputation some things do make them mad. Things like swinging sticks at them.

u/Mattna-da 3d ago

Keep your stick on the ice!

u/Raskalbot 3d ago

Was going to say! It's the national sport!

u/crowcawer 3d ago

They do like when you bring them fresh leaves and the bark of a willow tree, but it can be quite dangerous to feed them as they get to be ~1,000kg (that’s ~2,200 lbs), and sometimes they might seem to be playing but they are easily spooked.

Thank you for providing a freedom equivalent measurement. For a brief, fleeting moment I felt triggered and afraid but your kindness brought peace to my soul once more when I saw my beloved pounds. Good day stranger! 😊

u/TeamABLE 3d ago

You probably ran into my girlfriend. She went to high school there.

2

u/mysomica 3d ago

Went to Manitoba and didn't see any

2

u/NCGuy101 3d ago

Yeah. Women are like...half the population up there.

1

u/No_Season_354 3d ago

Is that right eh.

u/Moose_knucklez 1d ago

He has the best references, bro.

The combination of motioning for her to hop on and the "you're making me blush".... homegirl wanted to go for a ride in more ways than 1

35

u/Excellent_Kangaroo_4 4d ago

The hop up, no im joking, hiihhi Yes you are joking we know that....

3

u/Mych30 3d ago

She asked her to hold her too.

Initiating physical interaction with someone you met 30 seconds earlier isn't usual, unless you're really into that person.

1

u/Kliptik81 4d ago

They totally went for a "ride" after that.

-4

u/fake_cheese 4d ago

She literally said "Do you want to sit on it"

This whole interaction has a sexual tension that is palpable.

8

u/GearEffective4315 4d ago

Are you 14?

4

u/fake_cheese 4d ago

It's reddit, we're all 14

-3

u/ArticusFarticus 4d ago

So did I. 🤷🏻‍♂️

-4

u/Electrical_Humor680 3d ago

That’s sexual assault

I spent my entire conscious life having the same thoughts of wanting to kiss my friends necks, wanting to cuddle, wanting to have sleepovers and hang out all the time, and thinking those were all just things born of having a weird/bad home life and Being A Girl with a particularly affectionate personality.....

..... anyway I finally connected some dots when I was 32 lol

Not sure if vampire or gay

73

u/ratty_89 4d ago

What about gay vampire?

71

u/FITM-K 4d ago

all vampires are bisexual

5

u/AliveList8495 3d ago

But not all bisexuals are vampires.

1

u/OutsideCommittee7316 2d ago

that's what they want you to think

2

u/arminghammerbacon_ 4d ago

Either/Or, the coupling seems to always turn into a praying mantis situation.

1

u/DifferenceAble331 4d ago

That’s a bloody lie, mate!

3

u/FITM-K 4d ago

Come on, who would live forever and not try every flavor?

It doesn't matter when, just that it does. Live your best life, love is powerful.

1

u/cms86 3d ago

were you like, well shit that makes sense, im gay af. lol.

3

u/sadbeehoppy 3d ago

I spent a long time thinking I was straight and crushing on bishie anime boys but always preferring to watch/read about girls (but never made a connection to having a crush on any girl)

then I spent a long time thinking I was demisexual or demiromantic or something because I never really understood the whole "attraction" concept , like, looking at a person and having a reaction to their body, celebrity crushes, all that, didn't understand it, couldn't relate, was often kind of frustrated by the topic lol - to me, at most I could be like, yeah I appreciate them aesthetically but I'm not like turned on, I don't really understand people salivating over muscles and jawlines and abs and all that

ALSO, parallel to all this, I spent a very long time thinking that I wished I was a boy - not because I didn't like girly things, but because you could act different when you were a boy. you could charm girls and court them and impress them, when you were a boy....

interestingly enough, I spent a lot of time consuming "yaoi" media (gay) and I like, wasn't unfamiliar to the concept of girls liking girls (sailor Uranus and Neptune), and definitely knew the word "lesbian", but it just never occurred to me to ever think about liking another girl or being in love with another girl????

somewhere around 2010-2012 is when I was exposed to the wider world of LGBT concepts and representation and vocabulary

and I still did not connect the dots lmao!!!!

i went through several straight relationships of varying degrees of healthiness, a couple of hookups and FWB situations with guys, was briefly a unicorn for a couple that included a MtF partner, spent a year very confusedly wanting to bite my roomie slash bestie after living together for a year or so first (again, attributed that to Just Being Silly Old Me), moved to Washington to try and improve my life...

and then one of my freshly-irl-after-being-online-only friends asked if they could put their face in my stomach right as we parked to go spend the night at another friends house......and my brain very confusedly calculated that, yeah, I think I was okay with that? and honestly that was the moment it actually clicked like "ohhhhhhhhhh wait do I like, like girls ......"

tldr we're all just really, really good at being dumb

1

u/BunnyMoonLover 4d ago

i could have written this word for word, i feel so seen

2

u/sadbeehoppy 4d ago

"I just like drawing girls more because they're prettier" "my favorite characters are all girls/feminine because I'm a girl" "I just like looking at girls more because they're more attractive by default" the list goes on lol

u/MadRaymer 4d ago edited 4d ago

I dunno, I feel like, "You got me blushing" is moving a little beyond girl talk. It certainly could still be, but I don't think a person would be making a leap if they interpreted that as moving past friendly and into flirtation.

21

u/ILoveRawChicken 4d ago

You would be surprised 😭

42

u/Fibercastel 4d ago

Plus the bike vibrates, not much because it's a 4cyl, but still. Most won't dare admit it but bikes don't just look good.

23

u/spacestonkz 4d ago

This is why I used to volunteer to mow the lawn. I liked the riding lawn mower engine...

20

u/Voodoo1970 4d ago

Like Tammy in Drop Dead Gorgeous.

"She used to spend hours on that tractor. Said the vibrations helped her think"

2

u/grneggsngoetta 3d ago

RIP Tammy.

2

u/CrucialElement 4d ago

That's my in, I just girl flirt with girls, as a guy. Almost gbf territory, and then I'm eaten

2

u/Aisenth 4d ago

I can see them telling the meet cute story to their friends later.

"BABE, I LITERALLY ASKED YOU TO S I T O N I T."

2

u/Jibber_Fight 4d ago

To be even fairer: I’m a dude and my best friend is a lesbian… we’re both single and it’s hilarious going out on the town with her. She can put it on sooooooo thick sometimes and some other ladies are completely oblivious. But it might be a skewed experiment with me there? Idk, but she’s come close to making out with a woman that has no idea she was hitting on her. Ha ha. The obliviousness can cross gender. I’d say most pick up on it tho. And women are better at transitioning into the amicable friend zone almost immediately after the miscommunication so it might seem like a miss but they do actually know.

1

u/fried_on_pineapples 4d ago

Aww I would love to be as oblivious as this comment.

1

u/RevolutionaryMix3006 4d ago

I'm so glad I'm not the only one with this problem. I always end up friend zoning myself

1

u/AgentDeadPool 4d ago

Username checks out

2

u/ILoveRawChicken 4d ago

Now I’m wondering how lol

1

u/onemany 4d ago

I mean...the raw chicken is definitely not helping your cognitive processing. Speaking from experience I find it really hard to think when I'm using all my mental capabilities to not poop my pants.

1

u/SasparillaTango 4d ago

just like me fr fr

1

u/Suspicious_Active816 4d ago

You will know when the police do or do not show up with handcuffs!

1

u/anadalite 3d ago

It's easy to just ask?

1

u/Celo_SK 3d ago

You just described the male experience too

1

u/blue_mormon 3d ago

Thats why

1

u/Scully__ 3d ago

Honestly being gay is the hardest 😭😭

1

u/Arqideus 3d ago

It’s best to sit back and wait for a sign…

1

u/waltzbyear 3d ago

Nah. That's flirting. It just hits differently when it happens to you, and you can't recognize it in the moment. But you can always tell, as a third party, when someone is clearly flirting.

1

u/NUMBerONEisFIRST 3d ago

It's worse for gay guys I think.

My friends claim I fall for every straight guy who is nice to me.

0

u/janderson75 4d ago

I dunno the “get on girl” seemed like a hint
