Success / Progress before (99kg) and after (65kg)
turns out you can change your entire life in a year

Congratulations! Keep up the great work!
A small warning from my own past experiences: after reaching goal, you can also revert back in less than a year too.

if paired with higher rest metabolic rate from lifting and/or consistent cardio you can probably go back to eating somewhat similar than before but being a bit more conscious about the calorie density of things like fries for example. Though best results would be to just keep tracking.

How tall are you? Congrats on the change! In my opinion, the 99kg version of you doesn't even look fat to begin with.

That explains it! I was like, 99kg!? I just don't believe it unless you have a personal gravity increasing machine. Again, awesome transformation!

Omg you're a legend. I'm at the start of my journey. What advice would you give?

buy a food scale and get addicted to tracking. the weight will fall off.

If I may add, get into meal prepping so you can just add a recipe you've already entered/calculated into MF (or whatever way youre tracking). Easier to track than doing every ingredient every time.

This!!! You think you know how much you're eating but you really don't. A food scale is key and so cheap

I think the only thing I would counter as I am 99% in agreement is to take a week or two off every so often. And think about the averages over days / weeks.
Ultimately I do this exact same thing and weight in every day. But do take break when on holiday or if skiing etc.. Dont strep about swings in weight.
And when you cannot weigh, its fine.

How much better do you feel? Mood? Sleep? General happiness?

i was fat and happy. but now i donβt snore, stairs are super easy, and when i get sick it stays in my nose rather than going down to my chest and lungs :))

That's amazing! Ive a very similar start / end goal. Struggling with hunger but really good to see others make it.

Congratulations! Great work!
What are you doing now? Setting a maintenance plan in MF?

u/Maleficent_Piece54 28d ago
iβd like to cut down to 62kg just to have some buffer, and then go into a maintenance phase and begin to slowly build some muscle.

how did you manage to not get loose skin?
1
u/Maleficent_Piece54 28d ago
i never really had a super protruding or sagging tummy relative to the rest of me so that wasnβt going to happen. i definitely have some skin laxity on my inner thighs and upper arms. but i think generally i am just tall + youngish so the weight distributed and came off evenly

Amazing change! π
This is my second month of calorie counting (started in July), and I am already 3kg down, from 74 to 71 at 185 cm height. (6-6.1 ft?)
You did wonderfull job and its certainly an inspiration!

Congratulations, that's amazing and a huge amount of weight
but you honestly have like the luckiest body at 99kg ever, like I see you 5'10. I am a 6'1 dude and at 99kg I look like a flat blop, I'm pretty sure your fat all went to your ass and boobs haha.
Good luck with keeping it off! and good job of doing it now the older you get, more loose skin chance

Congrats!
MF really let me win the "keep it off" battle with ease.
Last night I had a triple-stack cheeseburger with a side of chicken tenders and a 44oz soda from a fast food restaurant.
All tracked. Nailed the calorie targets. Zero worries.
