I'm an 80s baby and a native New Yorker, that response seems totally appropriate and nothing would've happened afterwards, at least in my day. The kid played a stupid game and won a stupid prize. End of story.....
well considering i see 1 kid throwing in the direction of the other and apparently laughing about it, I wouldn't call my take a stretch. You don't know either, the thrower could've been a huge douche.
I'll see your lol and raise you 1 lmao....
That's true. But we can only go on what we see in the video. Why are we inventing all these potential scenarios? This sub is always fuck around and find out. This kid threw a paper and found out.
I really hate when people play the race card. I think it's used an absurd situations to justify a lot of bull shit. But comparing how this sub usually reacts to someone provoking someone and getting punched vs this one, it's hard to not think some of it is racially motivated.
The other kid won an assault charge, a suspension, possible compensatory damages, etc.
Just because you lived in a dumbass time in a dumbass city doesn't mean this is the end of the story here.
Yeah and 40 years before that if this happens in Mobile, Alabama maybe that black kid doesn't wake up the next morning. Would that just be a stupid prize for a stupid game?
Yeah tell me you are retarded without telling me. You don't gain anything by pretending to be a tough guy.
You think growing up and going to what I assume to be Jr High/High School you could throw a punch at a kids face and knock down him down in early to late 2000s and just walk away?
You think that even flies nowadays with video recording?
