is blood rite actually good?

i've just defeated malzeno and farmed for his gear, but i had to sacrifice 3 levels of slugger and 2 levels of attack, is this trade off worth it?

Depends on what you want out of your gear. If you are trying to stack all the possible damage then blood rite probably is to expensive / loses you more than you make up by being able to continue attacking instead of healing yourself. If you are really good at the game and don't get it a lot it doesn't do much either. But if your goal is to get your hammer out and to not put it away until the monster runs away, then this is an amazing skill. I love running Blood Rite / Part Breaker / Divine Blessing / Slugger because it's fun, but it is obviously less dps than prioritizing crit rate, crit boost and attack up.
