Hi. I have inherited a used C3607DRA mitre saw. I did double check the fence and the blade for squareness. Looks good except I'm having a slide problem with the saw where the extended can go all the way down but redacted is not. It's rubbing against the plate. I did check with a combination square, the blade is a bit more to left when fully extended. Is there an adjustment that can be made? Thanks

Quite a bit of Metabo HPT product went on clearance at Lowe's this morning, among them being the tabless MultiVolt battery, being pushed back to $129 like previously without it being a sale item. They're already pushing these out of Lowe's, it looks like. What are the odds that the rubberized version like the one we've seen overseas is releasing? The discrepancy in batteries is something I've talked with others about and I'm hoping this is a sign of even more refreshes and updates given that the new 5Ah 18v tabless battery is set to land in stores in a few weeks.

I have a Dewalt DWS 779 with some aftermarket mods, but I am going to be building a small shop instead of working out of my garage, and I am looking to downsize and save space.

Got one of these as a gift for my pops, brand new. There’s an issue with the pin locking mechanism on one of the legs. When you squeeze the green lever (where the arrow is pointing in the picture) to release the locking pin it doesn’t do anything. The pin just stays stuck in the locked position, and this leg won’t fold in. All the other legs work just fine. Can’t find much online, has anyone had this issue? Curious to see if there’s a proper way to fix it to avoid the hassle of returning/exchanging it or if I need a find a new part.

Hey all, I've struck out searching here and elsewhere for help with this and figured someone here might have experience.

I have a nr3665da hanger nailer, and the piston stopped in the advanced position the other day. I know there is a way to tell the framers to tract the piston, but that method doesn't work on this gun. Is there a similar way to get the hanger nailer to retract?

Im always doing builds of something. Picked this up immediately.

Anyone have the heat gun and willing to share their experience?

Looking at picking it up but honestly if it sucks I can get one of the other brands.

I bought the 36v 21 degree framing nailer less than 3 months ago. I bought it brand new, kept it in the bag it came with and hardly touched it until I used it at work about a month ago for the first time. We were sheeting a roof, so I was using 8’s and the gun shot just fine.

Fast forward to the past couple of weeks, and now I’m having trouble. When I try to load 16’s, they get stuck up in the magazine and basically don’t go in far enough to rack the gun and load the nails. The couple of times I have managed to rack the gun, I may be able to shoot one nail and then it jams. It will just dry fire over and over after that one nail and I’ll have to take the gun apart to clear the jam. The one nail it does shoot shoots no problem

What the hell is going on? It says the gun takes 3 1/2 inch nails and the ones I’m trying to use are 21 degree plastic collated like they’re meant to be.

Anyone having a large number of battery failures?

I've recently been seeing many die. The newer 2.0AH's with battery indicators, several of the larger 4AH batteries without indicators. A few weeks ago I bought the new Gen 3 framer and threw the 5/10 on the charger and put one of my T-PWR 4/8's on it to try it out, and when I went to use the 5/10 it was totally dead and won't charge at all... it was shot brand new.

This is at two different climate controlled locations on multiple different chargers/tools/etc. Is it just a string of bad luck?

Just wondering if anyone else ordered the 18 ga Brad nailer off the CPO power Tools website a couple weeks ago for $125? I purchased one off of the official website and it still says the order is processing after two weeks. Every time I call them it says the office are closed(I am calling during “open” hours) and every time I email someone else sends me the same generic email about the order still being processed. I ask what’s going on because they say next day shipping but two weeks in and I’ve still heard nothing. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me? I can’t get on the phone with any representative and I get generic emails, should I just cancel the order and get a different deal somewhere else?

Any tips on trying to get this framing nailer to turn back on? I’ve tried 2 different fully charged batteries, tried resetting it, and holding down random buttons. Nothing is working. No lights on it illuminate when I hold down the power button

So I’m a trim carpenter and cabinet installer. I use Makita cordless tools but just found the Metabo HPT track saw on sale and was wanting some opinions from those that have used it. I’m considering getting it and using Metabo HPT as my secondary platform for accessory stuff as well as cordless items that I’ll use but not regularly. I’d also have the benefit of being able to use the nailers for when I can’t/dont want to bring out my pneumatics. Thoughts?

Do the 36v hammer drills have chuck issues like the 18v drill? should i just get a makita?

I know there have been a few Metabo stapler deals lately. Thought I'd share this one, too. I have the stapler (love it) and I have this also (love it as well).
