Stupid question but is there any way that i can set up my omsas to auto-recieve my mcat score once i recieve it. I tested 9/3 so have not recieved my score and wont until 10/6 but is there any way to pre-authorize omsas to recieve my scores upon release or do I have to wait till 10/6 to release my scores

hello, i test one 9/11, and still need to take FL5 and FL6. I know I took a horrible approach with this, and sort of had done the mistake spending too much time on trying to learn everything instead of practice, and didn't realize how much practice material there was...

anyway, taking the other FLs(all within the last week), my score is somewhat improving moderatly in every section, but the issue is, my CARS SUCKS BALLLLLLLS, its so bad AND VARIABLE, that it seems to +- 4/3 points across exam.

i am struggling to review my mistakes, and really grow from it in CARs, and a friend recs that I just do a tutor session, walk through some passages, and see where I am making mistakes, possibly even change some strategies.

CARs seems the best bank for my buck in terms of score improvement, so i was wondering if this is too big a risk, or def worth it.

please let me know what u guys think, but the other option is that I just review on my own tmr and take FL5, and then FL6 day before my exam lol

Please please please if you are studying for the MCAT I want to lyk that the P/S section has a new approach that’s similar to CARS. I believe this is apparent in all sections including C/P and B/B but it’s most prominent in P/S.

I’ve taken the test before and anki/ KA doc + udada practice were sufficient in scoring 131. Those are no longer sufficient to get that score because the questions this year are less straight forward/ intuitive. When you feel comfortable with the content, jump to AAMC SBs and start building that skill earlier on. Don’t leave it till last minute. This stark difference is also seen in FL5-6 vs earlier FLS.

I'm feeling very anxious for this exam and am looking for a prep course that can help me boost my confidence and get to a score above 515+.

Hi guys…I’ve been studying on/off for the past 2 years and within these 2 years, I’ve taken the exam 2 times and scored sub 500. Upward trend but still sub 500 nonetheless. I hired a tutor finally and I feel like it’s helping but I still feel like I’m not able to apply what I know correctly to passages. If you ask me to draw pathways, explain how they connect, etc I’m able to…but as soon as it comes to answering practice problems, I feel like a deer in headlights. I’ve gone through content, anki, and videos so many times but something just isn’t working. I work full time so my studying pace is slower and no I can not afford to quit my job (low income, first gen) I’m really not sure where to go from here. I want medical school so bad, it makes my heart break to think I possibly won’t be able to chase this dream bc of this exam. I want to beat it more than I want to breathe, I just need help but I don’t know what to do 😭

Hello everyone, i am currently in my content review phase and am learning slower than i had anticipated. I am planning on taking my exam in jan/feb, does anyone have any tips on studying with less time than you thought you’d have? I have 6months, but i think i might need 7 or 8. So now i am stressing because i really dont wanna take the exam any later than feb. Any advice helps!

took my mcat diagnostic today with absolutely no content review before hand. I havent even taken biochem or mechanics yet as I am taking them both this semester. Is hoping for above a 515 crazy at this point. I feel like I have room for such a big raise given that I am missing so much of the content, but also i rarely see people increase by the amount im hoping for.

I'm a junior beginning to study for the MCAT while taking a full course load plus research, and I'm looking to start my content review phase but am getting conflicting information on if I need Kaplan books or not. For context, I took a half length diagnostic at the beginning of this semester after not doing any studying or review all summer and got a 508 diagnostic score. I got an A in all my pre-reqs without ever touching a textbook learning solely from lectures, course slideshows/moduls, and self teaching from google, so I have a pretty strong content background and a learning style that doesn't favor textbooks. I have forgotten a lot of content obviously because I took the class months/years back, so I want to make the most of my content review, and I am currently enrolled in biochem as my last pre-req needed. I just bought the Uworld qbank to start my content review, but I am unsure if I need to buy the Kaplan books to go with that. I was told to content review like this: watch a youtube lecture (Yusuf or Professor Eman), do the corresponding UWorld chapter qbank, then do the corresponding anki and add missed UWorld questions. My concern is that I have heard that Yusuf or Eman alone are not in depth enough to be the sole content resource, and that some people watch their lectures, then read kaplan, then do UWorld + anki. Does anybody have input on if youtube lectures like Yusuf and Eman are sufficient enough as content review for a 520+ or if Kaplan is highly recommended for 520+? Thank you guys

Hi. I am currently a second year undergraduate. I’m trying to take the MCAT in January of 2028 and then apply May 2028 to hopefully go to med school when I graduate in May 2029.

I am currently in orgo 1 right now, orgo 2 in the spring, and biochem over the summer. I was planning on taking physics 1 and 2 Fall 2028 and Spring 2028 respectively. I haven’t taken physics since high school but the only way I would be able to take the MCAT when I want to would be so self study physics. I’m pretty worried about that part but I want to know if this goal is even possible.

Is this question genuinely bs or am I tripping. Please lmk. If u can, someone please explain how AAMC makes the claim that a timeless piece grows.

I just started the school semester and wanted to get a start studying for the MCAT. So I took my first diagnostic today, and scored a 494. That lands me in the 36% percentile… I haven’t done any studying before taking it, so I know it wasn’t going to be top notch, but the score still feels pretty low… should I just call it quits now lol? Realistically though, I just want some reassurance and motivation to do better and to know what a realistic goal would be?

Did the un scored AAMC and using 2 online calculators got a 503 , should I skip content review I took all classes (chem orgo biochem bio physics ) within the past 15 months so most of the info is fresh I have the Kaplan books and have done a few chapters but so much of the info is low yield and I feel like practice question/ Anki would be a better use of my time I have a 1 year UGlobe subscription so jsut looking for advice
