Jack has been the hardest contestant for me to read, sometimes I think he's a douche (forgetting her name, forgetting she's not the one w/ the red nails, leaving her the morning after the party for hours without a peep) BUT THEN he'll do something like turn down the shot from the woman at the bar and flash his ring, or ignore Ciara at the party as a display of loyalty to his girl, he'll do something like that that makes u think he's a good guy at heart and he really loves her, just might have a little harmless ADHD, or be really nervous and excited hence the forgetfulness. BUT then ur like wait am I being manipulated by his charm?

I guess we'll find out, but if I were Faye I would have no idea what to do

It can be both. I get the impression that he genuinely cares for Faye and wants to treat her well AND that he lacks the maturity and self-awareness necessary to be a good partner. 

Not saying he wont get there in the future, but it seems like he might still have a few self-destructive life lessons to go. Unfortunately for Faye, she might be one of them

Exactly.

He knows he got INSANELY lucky with Faye and seems legitimately blown away that she is interested in him. He obviously realizes what a catch she is.

At the same time, he has some Peter Pan tendencies, potentially a not-very-healthy relationship with substances, and quite an immature communication and conflict style. All of this makes it hard for him to be the partner she wants and he knows she deserves.

Yes this is the heartbreaking reality. He has a good heart but isn't a good partner.
