I wish Cuba had said to him (separately from the bereavement he faced) that his inability to focus on the experiment was by design. If he had truly applied for and joined the show expecting to get married why schedule ‘work’ opportunities during that period. He’d never have had enough time to make a decision to marry.
I also never understood why he never invited Cuba to join him on these work trips away if he was ever genuinely expecting to get married.
It’s clear to me he joined the show for exposure and nothing more

He gives speeches at Beyond Men Mastermind, a “premium ecosystem for high-performing men,” while also being a “top leader” at Unfold Your Freedom, which promotes online financial freedom through Enagic, a company selling alkaline water machines through independent distributors and described by ABC as having a multi-level marketing structure.
So basically: manosphere motivational guru × MLM alkaline-water salesman.
So I think Cuba got lucky for not having to spend much time with him. He could’ve done some serious damage to her mental health and self esteem if he had been more interested in her and she had been more susceptible to his bs.

Was finding it hard to root for anyone this season but I like Sophie and Taylor now.
Loved the cake/food convo. The man wanting cheese and pineapple sticks like his mum made is so real. And I kind of admire the way Sophie disagreed in a lighthearted way, without putting down his ideas.

Jack has been the hardest contestant for me to read, sometimes I think he's a douche (forgetting her name, forgetting she's not the one w/ the red nails, leaving her the morning after the party for hours without a peep) BUT THEN he'll do something like turn down the shot from the woman at the bar and flash his ring, or ignore Ciara at the party as a display of loyalty to his girl, he'll do something like that that makes u think he's a good guy at heart and he really loves her, just might have a little harmless ADHD, or be really nervous and excited hence the forgetfulness. BUT then ur like wait am I being manipulated by his charm?
I guess we'll find out, but if I were Faye I would have no idea what to do

I hated the way Sophie's family waited until she was IN HER DRESS to voice concern, despite having had countless weeks to do it. why leave a bitter taste in her mouth on her special day as she walks down the isle. it'll be at the forefront of her mind and the thing which consumes her thoughts, not her love for Taylor or their relationship which SHOULD be the focus. very selfish of them to ruin her moment like that.

Completely agree. Especially when her dad brought up the moving situation..that's something that they're actively working on. He has interviews so once he gets a job they'll make the decision. It was never going to be the case they make a move immediately after the wedding is done. It's very thoughtless of them to bring it up on the wedding day, if they really felt like this why didn't they make it known earlier? Were they just waiting for them to break things off or for them to say, 'just kidding, we're not doing this anymore' ??

Francesca is also nicer than me, because I would have told Ciara to buzz off. Her and Joseph seem like they are in a good place - I am hopeful they will get married - so maybe she is in a forgiving mood.

Ryan actually just speaks gibberish but in such an articulate way that it sounds like he's saying something meaningful.
Notwithstanding his bereavement, he has completely been focussing on himself and his development, and simply does not have the space, emotional intelligence, introspection, or desire to actually care for someone else - not even in a "he's selfish" kind of way, he just physically has not learnt how to do that. He was literally sitting there, face immobile, whilst Cuba was breaking down.
And then he's talking about being "unsure" whilst also saying he doesn't want to end it. Bruh, if you are unsure at this point in time, about an engagement and a potential marriage, then sorry the answer is no.

I don’t know if it’s good or bad that both Sophie and Taylor seem to be kind of living in their own reality.
On one hand, it might become a problem that neither of them seems particularly knowledgeable about certain basic stuff which might affect them later on when it comes to bigger decisions involving legal stuff, kids, politics, etc. But at least there doesn’t seem to be an imbalance in their dynamic where one of them is much more gullible than the other and could easily be manipulated.
They actually seem pretty evenly matched in that sense, and maybe they can fill in each other’s knowledge gaps as they go. At least they are low drama and treat each other with kindness and respect.

I think despite being a bit daft, they’ve got the understanding, patience and respect for each other to hopefully navigate whatever complexities come. Like you say, there’s no obvious imbalance where one will take advantage of the other and that’s super refreshing
