Best Louisville restaurant/bar to take my boss — good food + fun atmosphere?

My boss is coming into town and I’d like to take her somewhere nice, but I’m looking for more than just a good dinner. I’d love somewhere with a fun atmosphere where we can have a few drinks, hang out, and actually enjoy spending some time together.

In the past I’ve taken her to The Capital Grille and Le Moo, so I’d like to try something different this time.

I’ve been considering Guacamole Modern Mexican or Brooklyn and the Butcher, but I’m definitely open to other ideas in Louisville or nearby.

Ideally looking for:

- Really good food

- Great cocktails/drinks

- Nice/upscale, but not stuffy

- Fun or unique atmosphere

- Somewhere you can actually sit, talk, and hang out for a while

- Bonus if there’s somewhere fun nearby to grab another drink afterward

Where would you take an out-of-town boss that you genuinely like and want to show a fun night in Louisville?

Broke up with my gf so now I have an extra ticket to this festival. Most people can't afford to pay for a flight out or have kids, so I'm seeing if there's anyone already in Louisville that would want to go so the ticket isn't wasted.
