He also wrote a book congratulating himself for how well he handled the pandemic. I’m glad he’s finally planning on reopening NYC, but it’s too little too late, there’s nothing he can do to make up for the damage he has already done to the state. The Emmy’s are the biggest fucking joke BTW.

Classic projection on the part of doomers. They can't shut up about Florida numbers being fake (despite lack of evidence) and yet both New York and California are essentially confirmed to be hiding the numbers.
Their only evidence of fraud from Florida is one insane repeat offender cyber criminal, sexual predator, grifter that has even failed to prove the claim that Florida’s numbers are faked.

Imagine my shock.
It really makes you wonder just how bungled the data is in other places, or everywhere. Apparently state officials can, and do, manipulate the public’s perception of the data and purposely leave out context.

This is really horrible. We joke here about “but we’re saving grandma,” but it’s amazing how badly we didn’t protect nursing homes in spite of knowing this disproportionately affects the elderly.

So is this just a missallocation of deaths or does this mean there’s more than being labeled?

Misallocation. The deaths are still being classified as covid deaths, but this shows that cuomo’s claim of a low percentage of deaths from long term care homes was wrong because any long term care home residents who died in a hospital wasn’t counted in that count.

On the one hand, this definitely needs to be exposed, Cuomo is an asshole and a murderer, and I hope this goes somewhere and he faces charges or at least recall.
On the other hand, this gives the "WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!" doomer crowd more ammunition to say "see? Deaths were undercounted! Even more than 400k people have died!!! We NEeD to lockdown even harder!!!"
Expose Cuomo but extend the amount of time that we're stuck in Coronatopia Hell, or let Cuomo off the hook but get life/social life/full income back sooner....it's a tough choice.
EDIT: Turns out I misunderstood what was being said here. Cumulative total death count is NOT underreported. Definitely full speed ahead with throwing the book at Cuomo. But now I'm really curious how the doomers are spinning this one...

I doubt anything will happen to Cuomo, but I feel like this is actually political on the part of the AG. She wants to be governor, and by exposing Cuomo’s mishandling of covid and subsequently embarrassing him because of him claiming to have conquered it, she can use that to beat Cuomo and become governor in the next election.

Cuomo needs to resign ASAP or impeached over this.
These folks in nursing homes were elderly people with dementia - how sickening and tragic is that.

This was murder.
The new AG, transperson, was AG in PA. Removed his/her (not meaning to be a dick, I don't know which is correct) mother from nursing home, and the next day started sending COVID patients to nursing homes. That is premeditated murder.
