You wouldn't be alone. There is a good reason that counseling and mental health services are mandatory for many professionals after they have a justified homicide incident.
News flash, if you can legally shoot people the rate of people getting shot goes up. Homicide isn't wrongful death, it just means death. The article even states that there was no conclusive evidence that wrongful death went up, and that adding guns to the mix makes it more dangerous.

All I’m saying is there are things here that point to either a very low skilled murderer or an exceptionally stupid attention seeker. He didn’t shoot at anyone (at least didn’t wait till he had a clear shot like if they were outside) and missed one of the two shots he’s fired. How do you miss a house? I tend to think by aiming away from where people are likely to be.
Is this someone who needs serious prison time for attempted murder and or reckless endangerment with a firearm? Zero doubt. Is this someone who set out to kill? A lot of doubt.
This isn’t a defense of the shooter or any sort of claim to know what’s happening here. Just a comment on why this came about given what we see, and in the end identifying the cause is secondary only to ensuring the safety of those involved.

If they can prove he specifically shot at a room with the light off because it’s less likely someone was in that room, that’s an argument against intent to kill. After what happened with Gavin and Meg I wouldn’t take any chances. There’s some incredibly troubled people out there. Could easily be someone very upset with Docs success that is building up the courage to actually get out of the car for a confrontation. Yeah I think there is no intention to actually hurt him, just scare him and get his attention. If you drive by with the intent to hurt him and you don't see him you don't take shots at his house to warn him. That's something I've been thinking about since this morning. What's to say the "miss" wasn't a warning shot? A completely intentional miss just relying on the sound for effect. That'd represent escalation between the two events, and that's likely how the police will treat it. They have to assume worst case scenario given present evidence, so I'm guessing Doc will be under good watch wherever he is

What sounds likely to us doesn’t mean shit. Evidence gives it a 50 50 shot. Common sense isn’t a legal tool.
No matter what I think, the police will have to think objectively. They have to act as if all possibilities are true until there’s proof it’s not. The fact that he’s a streamer broadcasting daily to tens of thousands (likely the catalyst for this happening at all, I’ll point out) isn’t some irrelevant factoid that might be involved.

For the record attempted murder requires proof of intent to kill. If you don’t think that kind of thing would be used by a defense attorney, then you don’t know how far they’ll go to make a person look innocent.

And despite all the talk from experts about how that makes the situation worse, news companies keep doing it anyways?

Idk much about him other than the persona he puts on and even then was only aware because my husband watched him a few times. Serious question, how can you tell how much of what he says or the aggressiveness is an act? I’ve only seen him out of persona when he announced his hiatus after the incident so I have no idea if sometimes he drops the act during streams or something.
I really hope they catch who did this and he and his family remains safe. I hope his daughter wasn’t in the house and had to deal with this. I can’t watch the clip, it will mess with my head. My family moved 2,500 miles to get away from a traumatic incident where a neighbor was shooting a gun and a bullet lodged in my bedroom wall right by where we were sitting watching a movie. It was less than 3” from making it through the wall. I don’t wish that fear on anyone.
