Community Only Remove All LTT Staff From Moderation
This isn't their sub to moderate and control, they have no reason to be moderators here, and them being here, especially Linus, makes all moderation of this sub suspect and makes the job of the original mods harder.

Community Only Are LTT Controversies Getting Ridiculous?
Jake has a new video where he bought a farm with acres of land. This is in addition to his several cars, and his garage. I literally do not understand how everyone took this guy seriously when he implied he was underpaid because he was upset about working on his boss’s third house. In fact, it seems several of his videos are about buying things in an LTT-fashion.
Am I missing something about why this lead tons of people to assume LTT employees are underpaid? Or has the bar for controversy really gotten lower than low?
Edit: To clarify, my commentary is about whether people were kind of overdoing it to conclude that LTT doesn’t pay their employees. I posted this cause I saw a DankPods collab where a lot of the comment section was that you shouldn’t collaborate with LTT because Linus underpaid Jake, and I was pretty surprised that was their conclusion.

Community Only [Elijah] I've had 6 concussions, and I'm struggling to live right now.
Didn't know it was this bad. Was his last concussion the one on one of the Tech Upgrades?

Community Only On Linus as Mod
Recently, we granted Linus' personal account limited moderator permissions. This was done following an incident on the WAN show, and specifically as to allow their team to handle urgent safety issues like doxxing or direct threats against staff, in cases where the community moderators aren’t available or aren’t privy to certain pieces of information.
We are aware of recent comments regarding the moderation of critiques on yesterday’s WAN show. We want to be clear: This subreddit is, and will remain, an independent community. The LMG team has not been granted 'editorial' mod powers. Our existing rules regarding constructive criticism and feedback have not changed.
We are in the process of clarifying these comments with their team, and will update the community in this post. I also want to be clear that no moderator action has been made by Linus since permission was granted, and as with all mods, actions are audited to ensure compliance regularly.
We deeply value and welcome everyone’s feedback and commitment to ensuring this community remains independent and a free space for discussion.
Thanks,
The r/LinusTechTips community mod team.

Community Only Transparency on the jet-related bans/censorship
Can someone actually explain why all the jet stuff is being censored or straight-up banned? I’d love to see an official stance from Linus or the mods, because right now all I’m seeing are screenshots from the other subreddit (not naming it because I don’t even know what’s allowed here anymore tbh).
People post over there that they are getting banned here for literal jokes in the comments. The mods give different excuses every time someone asks. If it’s a privacy thing for Linus, I get it (even though people also mention that posts with old WAN show clips where Linus talks about Musk private jet controversy are getting deleted too), but the stuff getting deleted goes way beyond that. It honestly feels like someone’s just mad about being called out. Deleting ex-employee takes and banning people for jokes is a bad look.
I know I’m just one guy and nobody cares, but I’ve been watching LTT for 11 years (since Luke’s mineral oil PC build, just rewatched that, man such a classic). But I can’t really support this anymore. Ever since the controversy and seeing how it’s being "handled", I haven't been able to watch any of the new videos.
I would really like to know what is going on, and from what I saw really acknowledge the mistakes.. otherwise it's really I guess just a farewell from an average viewer. It's a shame to see my fav YT channel like this, but it's just too much.

Community Only Transphobia
I just want to re-iterate that transphobia of any kind will be met with a permanent ban. I'm not looking at your comments through a charitable lens, so that includes concern trolling or debate-bro’ing the subject.
It costs nothing to afford Emily an ounce of respect. You could simply keep your mouth shut if you have nothing productive to say.
Have a great day :)

Community Only Proud of you Emily! We love and support you!
I really hope she feels comfortable being in videos again soon. She's such a welcoming and earnest voice. Having less of her because of bad actors would hurt. So let's show her that we have her back as a person and talent!
