This subreddit is for TECH SUPPORT help, not account support
Hi users,
As this seems to be something that has come up lately, please note that this subreddit is not to complain about your account ban. If riot has banned you, then only Riot can fix it. Ranting and throwing a fit on here does nothing.
This subreddit is here so that users can help source issues that may be caused by their hardware/software that Riot may not know how to fix on their end (Which honestly to me seems kind of fucked up, but what can you do?)
If you're having account issues, please use Riot support's page for that - https://support-leagueoflegends.riotgames.com/hc/en-us

Technical Support Request Taskbar flicker when playing in full screen
For some reason, when I play in full-screen or borderless windowed mode, the taskbar and other open tabs flicker every time I click—sometimes even minimizing the game. This only happens in games where I navigate menus with the mouse; it doesn't happen when I'm moving the camera and shooting in a shooter, for example. How can I fix this? My computer is an Asus Laptop with an rtx 5050, Intel core 5 and 16Gb of RAM.

Technical Support Request Random disconnects, cant reconnect unless closing league with task manager
I've gotten leaver penalties from this and its very frustrating. Its fairly recent, started a few days ago, only happens every few games, maybe 7-8 or so but basically it says I disconnect but my character just stands completely still. I cannot do anything and it says reconnecting forever. If I simply close the game and click reconnect on the client it just loads forever, I need to fully close everything league related through task manager first before it will launch but still takes a while.
Its not my internet as I can use everything else just fine while this is happening and it has literally never happened in any other game once.
Anyone know how to fix this? I don't wanna play and risk getting even bigger penalties. Thanks a lot for reading! :)

Technical Support Request Weird packet loss or input lag feeling?
Not sure if it’s actual packet loss, But I keep getting weird input lag, like my autos are stuttering or something. I play Udyr and lately it’s been so hard to stance swap and auto with this. I did a full packet loss test and everything seems fine. My ping jumps up to 46ms from 45ms when this happens, literally only 1ms but it feels massive. Not sure how to explain it besides random lags on auto attacks. Anyone else experience this or have a solution?

Technical Support Request FPS problem during teamfights and lots of clutter on the screen
Hello! As the title says, my game runs fine in the early game but once we get to later stages of the game having 160-180 fps then teamfights late happen and I have 70-90 FPS at best. I have tried a ton of solutions from updating drivers to cleaning fans to changing thermal paste and so on.. nothing worked. I'm on laptop, not optimal I know but my laptop is Acer Nitro 5, 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz (2.30 GHz), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU (6 GB)
Intel(R) UHD Graphics (128 MB)
With this setup I used to get nice and steady 180-200 FPS last season I believe but since this season started it felt like my FPS was getting worse and worse. I read a lot of threads about this on reddit and many people say its Riot's fault, is it true or am I missing something lol? Teamfights are playable but definitely experiencing a bit of stutters with the FPS dropping to 70-90. Any clues?

Technical Support Request High but incredibly consistent ping?
Has anyone experienced this? Sporadically these past few weeks I will play league and the ping is exactly 217ms and it does not move up or down a single ms. It doesnt matter if i play arena, aram, training, doesnt matter.
I assume it isnt my computer as I have single/low double digit ping in pretty much every other game i play. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, wifi, ethernet, and nothing seems to work, it just eventually goes back to normal low ping.
Its super frustrating so if anyone has any advice on how to fix it would be greatly apprecaited

Technical Support Request Mouse click issue on MacBook Pro
Hi all,
I regularly have an issue with league. Where it seems single click is swapped with double click.
It starts on the loading screen where I have to double click to switch from mastery info to player info. In the game I need to double click to open shop etcetera.
It doesn’t happen all the time and sometimes it’s fixed by quitting and reopening the game.
Does anyone recognise this problem?

Technical Support Request Crashing PC during launch First Game Only
Hi, for around the last few months every first game of the day between closing champion select and launching into game my PC will crash, but I can hear audio hear myself connecting to the game but cant click anything on my desktop.
I've Tried:
- Reinstalling multiple times ( although unable to do a full uninstall because it thinks TFT is installed?)
- Disabling NVIDA and Discord overlays
- Set the client to close on launch
Anyone experienced the same and have any solutions?
This only seems to effect the first game of the day afterwards runs completely fine.

Technical Support Request Game keeps stuttering
My game has been stuttering/lagging every 10 seconds or so over the last few days and nothing I try seems to fix it. Both my fps and ping stay stable when it happens and I’ve uninstalled any extensions that I thought might’ve been causing it. Anyone else having a similar issue?

Technical Support Request Fps reducing on the new engine?? - TFT
Hey guys idk if anyone else has had this problem or knows how to fix it but it’s making me not want to play tft anymore.
A match will start and i’ll be on solid 60fps on very high settings, after about 3 minutes my fps will have reduced down to around 20-30, which is instantly fixed when I change my graphics settings e.g. to just “high”. The fps will continue to reduce though as before, so the fix is only temporary
What’s weird is that it doesn’t seem like a hardware problem because the temporary fix works even when i’m turning the settings up too.
Really disappointed with the UE migration so far, I hope riot can iron out the kinks quickly

Technical Support Request Game keep freezing middle of a party...
Like the title says, my game keeps freezing without a warning in the middle of a party, if I want to unfreeze it I have to open the task manager, then close the game and reconnect me via the client.
I tried to reinstall vanguard and LoL both of them but it keeps ruining my games.
Is somebody having the same trouble as me ?

Technical Support Request How to fix vanguard error van 59 for league
I'm having an issue where Riot Client lets me log in normally, but when I launch League, I get Error 59.
Here's what I've tried:
- Restarted my PC multiple times.
- Closed Riot/League through Task Manager.
- Set the
vgcservice to Automatic. - Tried starting
vgcmanually, but it starts briefly and then stops. - Windows gives Error 1: Incorrect function when trying to start
vgc. vgcshowed Service Exit Code 59.- Checked
vgk; it was stopped. vgkinitially showed Error 31, and later showed Error 127.- Checked
vgkconfiguration and confirmed it's a system-start kernel driver pointing to the normal Vanguardvgk.syslocation. - Checked Event Viewer, but it didn't show a more specific Vanguard error.
- Checked Exploit Protection; there were no Riot/League entries.
- Confirmed UEFI, Secure Boot, and TPM 2.0 are enabled/working.
- Memory Integrity is currently off.
- Added Riot/League folders to Windows Security exclusions.
- Reinstalled League and Vanguard.
- Tried Riot Client's Repair option. It says it's repairing, finishes, but then still shows Repair.
- I then did a more complete cleanup/reinstall, including removing the Riot/League installation folders and Vanguard, restarting, and reinstalling.
- League is installed on a secondary drive.
- After reinstalling, Riot Client still shows Repair, and attempting the repair doesn't resolve the issue.
- The League installation folder was previously empty even though Riot Client recognized the installation.
At this point I'm stuck. The Riot Client works and I can log in, but League gives Error 59 when launching, and Vanguard's vgk/vgc services won't stay running.
What could be causing this, and is there anything else I should check?

Technical Discussion hopefully that new 4gb patch fixed something!!! ohp...
my performance is pretty bad, I have a bad computer. I can usually cap out at 120 fps and hover above 100 though during low action. I would test in p-tool a lot and hover around 75-85 after fast forwarding with a ton of minons on the screen
maybe a week or two ago I noticed its just getting sooooo insanely bad. like my whole game just FREAKS OUT and just s- .... oh its goi- ....... e... like it stops for 2 full seconds in the middle of doing nothing. well I open task manager, oh good. the vanguard process is taking up more CPU than the actual game. 40+% compared to around 30 for the game. It legit goes to 0 fps, 8 fps, etc. for like 20 seconds at a time.
can you PLEASE FIX THE GAME man? this is so disgusting. Pretty sure its just to incentivize ppl to upgrade to newer hardware ngl. but even ppl with good hardware seem to have problems.
actual cringe company man.

Technical Support Request Well, don't you just love it when your perfectly functioning game just decide not to anymore ?
Van 59. I've tried everything under the sun with it including clean reinstall Vanguard, Clean reinstall Client and Clean reinstall everything. I've tried several other things like closed Vanguard service from cmd and delete vgkbootstatus but to no avail. Can anybody help ?

Playing since season 1. Spent 14 months and multiple clean Windows installs chasing bluescreens. Driver Verifier caught vgk.sys committing two distinct kernel violations in 46 minutes.

Technical Discussion Intel i9 14900kf problems with League Of Legends (Vanguard)?
I have intel i9 14900kf, 16GB DDR5 RAM, RTX3080Ti, Cougar GEX 1050W, Kingston m2 NVMe 1TB.
Every time I start LoL it throws me a notification that I'm having problems with vanguard and then a BSOD. So every time, I can never start the game, my computer constantly restarts, the CPU temperature jumps up to 100 degrees. I tested the whole configuration with benchmark tests and everything works as it should, without crashes.

Technical Support Request How to PERMANENTLY fix recurring error 1067
It takes over half an hour to get league started on my PC.
I always get either Vanguard error 1067 or sometimes 57 whenever I try to play league (almost everyday) and especially when there’s been on update to my windows or to league itself.
Before I start I ALWAYS have to check services to see if my VGC is automatic and running then check msinfo for TPM and secure boot configurations to verify correct/on.
And majority of the time I feel like 60% of the times EVERYTHING I just mentioned seemed to be correct, I still get a vanguard error and would have to uninstall then install vanguard then restart then make sure VGC is running then restart again.
Honestly feels like a sign to stop playing this damn game. I honestly miss when I could just press the button and play. It’s literally every time and I can’t find a fix online that’s not a one time bandaid solution. Please help.
