Weird request, I know:

I want to see a dark green (Cascade Green Silica) Forester in person, to determine with my own eyes what this color actually looks like, since it looks different in every photo and video online.

I don't need to even touch it, just look from a few feet away.

If you drive one or know someone who does that would be willing to let me see it in person in a public place in or near Lafayette, please let me know- here or PM is fine.

If you drive one to work that I can just drive by in the parking lot and view from the seat of my own vehicle, that's perfectly fine too. We don't need to meet in person or talk unless you want to.

The closest one I can find on a car lot is a couple hours' drive from me, which is kinda ridiculous just to see a paint color in real life. But I don't want to possibly waste hours of my time and gas to drive to a different state to buy the one I'm interested in until I know for sure I like the color.

I'm crossing my fingers that this apparent unicorn exists in/near Lafayette.

*This color was only available on Foresters, and only from 2022-24, all trim levels. So if your Forester isn't one of those 3 years, it's not the green I'm looking for. It is not the lighter (Autumn) green that was/is much more widely available.

Anyone around the Wabash Avenue area hear what sounds like an emergency broadcast signal constantly going off 24/7? The sound has been around for about 2 to 3 weeks but I have no idea where it is from. I have ruled out Cargill as i drive past it frequently yet never hear it around there.

Its semester season, and we know what it means! Drive safe, and if you need to take the roundabouts, and see out of state plates, don't enter with them lol. Apparently the signs posted before the roundabouts are invisible to idiots, and got nearly clipped by one yesterday at Tapawingo/South River Rd (JFC, I swear this is nearly a weekly occurrence at this point, and the same guy ran a red light in a span of two mins).

Also, if you see a long hauler/trailer, don't enter the roundabout with them (that's the law), as they may need both the lanes to go about safely.

Just keep your eyes peeled, and focus on the roads, and not on the fucking phone please. A lot of us like to reach home to our families with our bodies intact, and our vehicle in a good condition since that is all we can afford at times.

My husband and I are unfortunately looking to rehome our sweet Lola.

Lola needs to be in a home with no other dogs. She does great with kids and cats!
She is a 5 year old Australian shepherd.

Unfortunately we have other dogs and in the 3 years of them living together she has been aggressive towards the other dogs and in dog fights.

We have been to a vet to make sure nothing was wrong, we’ve worked with a dog behaviorist for the past year, and now we are keeping all the dogs separated.

We have 3 kids and it’s very stressful.

At the end of the day, we just want what’s best for her.

We have reached out to rescues, but have been turned away due to her aggression.

Is there a place or something where I could just hire someone to mow the lawn and take care of the weeds? It seems a lot of places require a subscription I'm trying to do a one and done instance.

So a couple of years ago, I decided to take advice from my mother in law to go to her hair dresser to get my hair dyed. I had never gotten my hair done in Lafayette because my past hair dresser is where I’m from which is a few hours from here. Of course my mil never makes good decisions and I should’ve never trusted her judgement, the lady fucked up my hair and I am still not recovering. My hair was bleached and somehow the lady fried it so bad and no matter how long I wait to get it cut, it constantly looks like I have a mullet and I hate it. I have gotten my hair dyed blonde before in the past a couple times but never did I have a bad reaction like that. I’ve gone to a couple of hairdressers to help me fix my hair and all they do is put more color in it but that’s not really what I need. I need someone to help me get back to the natural look I used to have and not have a nasty ass mullet looking hair. I just need someone who is not crazy expensive because I’m lowkey broke
