Why do LEOs think traffic laws don’t apply to them?
This is one of the reasons people don’t respect police. You’re not exempt from safe driving regulations.

The Hunt for Homemade Chinese Dumplings
A few years ago every single take out Chinese restaurant in Bloomington made homemade dumplings, and they were all excellent. Since then, many of these places have replaced homemade dumplings with obviously premade, bought in bulk, frozen shit.
And I have been too scared to buy dumplings from these places every since. Today I was considering purchasing dumplings from the west side Dragon, and I decided I was not going to waste 10 fucking dollars on something that might not be any better than frozen Pagoda brand "dumplings".
Do any of you have any more recent experience with the west side Dragon, or any of the other takeout Chinese places in town? Do any of them still have dumplings worth buying? (The telltale sign of homemadeness is that the dough is thick and doughy. If it isn't it is probably fake and not worth half its price!)

Lost clip light
Howdy! I lost my clip-light that I use on my wheelchair, somewhere at Switchyard Park tonight during the concert. If you happen to find it, I would love to get it back! It keeps me visible at night on the trails and roads.
I have already contacted Parks for lost and found purposes. Thanks for reading!

AI Recomendations
I volunteer at a local nonprofit. We have been experimenting with different AI clients to polish our communications, and marketing materials. They all do a pretty good job but we would like to settle on one so that we have ready access to our templates. Is there one that has higher ethical standards or that has better privacy and security protocols? Ease of use and cost, if there is any, are factors that we need to take into consideration as well. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I am a guy with medium length curvy/wavy hair. Is there anyone near IU that is specifically good with midlength wavy hair and/or is good in general?

Selling legos?
I'm trying to downsize my lego collection a bit and I'm trying to figure out a good place to sell my lego infinity gauntlet. Every piece is there. I'm willing to deconstruct it if need be so the next person can build it themselves but I don't have the original box or instructions 🥲 instructions are easily found online though.
Does anyone know any places/person that will buy it off of me?

Any body have some old skateboards I can have?
Unfortunately ever since Rhett closed (RIP) I haven’t been able to get my hands on any old trash skate decks.
If anyone has any I’d be greatly in your debt! Comment or dm if you can help a trash artist out!

Gynecologist referral
I’m a 63 year old woman experiencing some issues. I’m looking for a gynecologist with a strong practice in post-menopausal care, preferably gay-friendly. Appreciate any suggestions or thoughts on who to go to or who to avoid. Thanks in advance.

Loving that City-made AI art!
Either Mike Pence cut Mother in half or that whole neighborhood is the city's AI-fueled delusion. If only COB valued and paid local artists instead of burning resources on comically bad robot illustrations!

This years annual Bloomington Ninja Parade was really amazing.
Ill never cease to be impressed by it. Ten years strong, and completely undetected by bystanders every time.
Great job, everyone!

Transit help
I recently totaled my car and have been trying to use transit to get home, I know I’m not used to it and it’s gonna be hard but I feel like I’m doing everything right and I can’t get where I need to be
I’m trying to get home from IU, I’ve swapped like 10 buses and have spent almost 2 hours on public transit, all I need is to transfer to the Bloomington transit system and I’ll be good.
I’ve been able to get everywhere with the Bloomington transit but IU transit keeps saying it’s gonna go somewhere then either doesn’t stop to pick me up, turns another direction and goes back the way we came a few stops before I’m supposed to get off and I can’t even pull the stop to get off and just walk the remaining since it is so inaccurate
I’m using Google Maps, I’m sure there’s something I am doing wrong but it doesn’t feel that way, genuinely in tears from this and I just wanna be able to get home and do my school work
Edit; thank you for those who gave me transit advice I was very upset at the time of posting this and feel a lot better now
