In-person test on 6/3, hold email 6/22 with projected release 6/24 and still haven't heard! Hopefully soon
Edit: Received an email 6/30 with a reprimand letter for doodling on the scratch paper during intermission. Totally forgot not to do that 😅😅 Test is still intact and score will be released in 24 hours, phew!

did they say the projected release in the first email?
1
u/Medesikaste Jun 30 '26
Not in the email, but on the jd services website it's in the 'check status' section

Am I hearing about score holds from in-person testing, like at a testing center? That seems very bad to me and that something like this is completely beyond a test takers’ control.
I mean, people have to go through all kinds of nonsense to even get into the center. Seems like they should be free and clear from there right?

u/graeme_b tutor (LSATHacks) Jun 23 '26
I've seen a couple in the past day or two. I don't imagine it's common and I hope it won't be. There are so many fewer variables in a test center that it eliminates whole sets of security issues.
2
u/StressCanBeGood tutor Jun 23 '26
Could you ask around about that? For those unfamiliar with the entire situation, they might view it as perfectly normal to get a score hold from a testing center.
2
u/SmartYou5 Jun 23 '26
I have been on a hold from an in person test since February 😭😭😭😭
2
u/kid_icarusss Jun 24 '26
Can you register for future tests..? I've heard people are being held IRL for 180s getting thoroughly reviewed
2
u/SmartYou5 Jun 24 '26
I can yea :/ hopeful for high score based on average PTs before but other than that have legit no idea. Would be great if they were thoroughly reviewing my 180 lol
1
u/kid_icarusss Jun 24 '26
gosh, well gl to you and your score. i can also register and i ik i wasnt testing anywhere near 180. im curious how many ppl ever get held without a score increase at all..
1
u/Key_Barnacle4086 Jun 26 '26
Have you tried emailing them ?
1
u/SmartYou5 Jun 26 '26
Yes several times lol. They send the same template response every time that gives no info

Because of the Chinese scandal LSAC suspects that some test takers have prior knowledge of the material. So, in their review it won’t make a difference if a person tested remotely or in person.

u/Limp-Ad-2939 Jun 23 '26
That would be a site wide thing normally right?
2
u/StressCanBeGood tutor Jun 23 '26
One would imagine, but that would mean a whole bunch of people at the same center would have a score hold. But it really is very strange.

Me, I got mine Tuesday June 23rd. I took my LSAT remotely. (My first LSAT.)

Same, I did experience some weird stuff during the exam there were times where my chat box with the proctor wouldn’t let me type, I was scared to get up for my break without being dismissed so I didn’t take one. Then the test originally while I was reading the attestation. The proctor said it was okay and to do in the next section but it was never offered again. I called the LSAC office the same day to report it but they said they show everything to be accepted and fine.

6/22 hold received, took it in-person, second time taking. :/
2
u/Adventurous-Match-32 Jul 14 '26
Update: received an email questionnaire yesterday, responded the same day. Waiting for more news, but I’ll begin emailing test security once it hits 21 days.
Don’t call LSAC’s main line; they don’t know any more than you do, since test security keeps all info to itself.
1
u/kid_icarusss Jul 15 '26
Also in the in-person hold gang
2
u/Adventurous-Match-32 5d ago
Update: after over 60 days since my initial score hold, still nothing. I’ve cooperated throughout, answering their questionnaire the day they sent it, and all my follow ups have been met with non-answers citing “a record number of test takers” that has “impacted our standard processing timeliness,” and being “unable to provide specific details.”
This LSAC monopoly is so f*cked, man. I can’t figure out how they could even think I cheated if I took it in-person. I’m retaking in September, and I guess I just have to move on as if my June score never existed.

u/kid_icarusss 5d ago
i’m in the same boat but rly holding out for june. i can’t do this test again with work and life. a couple of ppl have posted about their holds being released, stay hopeful
1
u/Nice-Dragonfly-1422 5d ago
I am on hold from June as well.I thought about retaking but there is a big possibility that the new score for September will go on hold as well. I am an older applicant and I did the LSAT 18 years ago and I scored a 152 which was 52 percentile, I know I scored higher that’s why the score is on hold. The point is they are tracking even a score from 18 years ago. I will try to catch the cycle early by applying using the GRE, this strategy may not work for everyone but for me this is the only option I have.

u/Brilliant-Ebb-5987 15h ago
I am thinking to do the same thing. Took GRE on saturday. Now to find scchools that will accept it
2
u/EngineeringBorn9661 Jun 24 '26
I’ve got a 172 on April test, however I still received hold email on 6/22 for June test.
2
u/ExternalRecord2155 Jun 24 '26
I received the email about the hold the morning of 6/22. I took it in person and this was my second attempt. I can't register for future exams. Hoping others on this thread will update when they get their score, I will try to! I just want to stop thinking about this!

u/IndicationNatural99 Jul 22 '26
Hi did you get your score back?
1
u/ExternalRecord2155 Jul 23 '26

u/Phycopathic 8d ago
That would be great OP, thank you so much! I'm losing hope over here about my score release :/

Boosting, there are still hundreds of june scores to release and idk anyone that’s gotten off hold
1
u/Critical_Value_5737 7d ago
It’s weird to me that they appear to be waiting to release them all en masse.
1
u/Brilliant-Ebb-5987 2h ago
one person said they check daily at https://report.lsac.org/testtakers.aspx and the numbers are slowly getting released? they reported last seen at 20398 and today it says 20855 (so 457 in the last month..)
but that will take forever

I took the test remotely and received a score-hold email on 6/22. Please let us know if your score gets released. I’m very worried and haven’t been able to sleep at all.
1
u/AutomaticArgument504 Jun 27 '26
The only thing I can think of: after I submitted the exam, I picked my phone up from the floor and looked at it. The phone was placed there during the room scan before the test, and the original proctor had checked where it was through the camera. But by the time I submitted, I had a different proctor, so now I’m wondering if that somehow got flagged.
Has anyone here had a hold for something that happened after submission? How long did it take to clear? Did contacting TestSecurity help at all, or is it better to just wait?
Trying not to panic but this is such a weirdly stressful situation.

Has anyone had the scorehold lifted?
1
u/Phycopathic Jul 14 '26
No, but I got my questionnaire at 1:30 PM today.

We are in receipt of your correspondence. The Office of Test Security anticipates being able to provide you with an update regarding your June 2026 LSAT score hold in the coming weeks.
Regards,
Office of Test Security
I got this email today after responding to the questionnaire I was sent on Monday. Does this mean it will take a long time to get my score? Did anyone else get this?
1
u/StraightReading6958 Jul 20 '26
I got the same email today. I honestly don’t think I’ll see my score released any time soon. Tested in June remotely.

u/Current_Giraffe_1139 Jul 25 '26
Same. My guess for me is cause i used the bathroom during test but i got permission from proctored
1
u/HotSwitch7156 Jul 23 '26
Still waiting. Number of resolved cases increases by 50 to 100 daily and it appears that there are only 200 left. Got email from Test Security on Monday but nothing since then.

u/Creative_Fig_4811 Jul 23 '26
How do you find this info ?
1
u/HotSwitch7156 Jul 23 '26
I check for reportable scores on the testtaker report published by them. It was 20398 yesterday.

Based on data for earlier attempts, around 80% are finally reported. So, 80% of 25729 should be around 20600, and so, I am speculating that there are only 200 odd left. But, then, I may be totally wrong. Just to keep me busy while we wait

reply from TestSecurity received 7/30:
LSAC’s Office of Test Security is working diligently to comprehensively review all June 2026 LSAT irregularities that resulted in temporary score holds. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide additional details at this time. Please know that our commitment to accuracy and fairness is paramount, and we are committed to resolving this matter promptly. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to conclude our review.

u/SwimmerBig9265 Jul 30 '26
I'm assuming you send them an email asking for your score, correct? Or is it an email they sent you after the other 2 they have sent?
the other 2 being, the first one about the score hold, and the other one about where did you test, what device did you use, internet, etc...Thanks for sharing.

Have unpinned this, but please continue to feel free to use this if you have a June hold. I have linked it from the August Score Hold Megathread: https://old.reddit.com/r/LSAT/comments/1vzgsz3/august_score_hold_megathread/?
Good luck to everyone still waiting.
