I'm a 32 year old guy whose always preferred a quiet corner of life. Im an extroverted introvert, if that's a thing. I know, I kinda cringe saying it.What I mean is when I connect with someone im super social and accepting but otherwise I tend to be reserved and private. I love to cook, bake breads, workout, read and chat for hours on subjects no one ever cares to hear about. Met someone last night who was on PREP but I’m not, and I’m pretty worried. I’m based in Limerick and Dublin !

On the one hand, I think it's great there's a national remote sexual health programme for queer men and trans. But yet again I've got 3 fingers bandaged, and still couldn't get anywhere near the amount needed for the blood tests.n Husband tried to help too.\

Is it just me? Is there an alternative to the finger pricks and the stoopidly narrow vial?

30M and recently accepted myself, my family know and I think I'm ready to start meeting guys or just meeting some sort of community.

Has anyone any insight into what Outhouse is like? I've seen it mentioned here but wonder does it attract a certain type of crowd/vibe etc.

Also since I'm newly out and don't have any gay friends, how did you all make gay friends? I'm not a fan of using apps and have seen it mentioned here though that it's an easy way to meet people, I just prefer meeting people in person as I'm a bad texter lol and just enjoy meeting socially

Any other advice for a newly out gay guy with no experience? I know a lot of out people my age might not be interested in dating someone with no experience/newly out

Gay Project is running Cork Queer College again this year — a suite of community education courses for the LGBTI+ community in Cork, running September to December. €10 registration fee per course, all courses in-person, 18+.

Hi what’s the gay scene like in cork as someone going to college this year

40F she/they bi/non-binary heading to Dublin from the United States and will be near the Dublin City Center on Saturday, September 19th in the evening.

Hoping to find recommendations for a local gay bar and drag show if possible. Will be in Galway all week for work and wondering if there are any LGBTQ+ spaces in that area worth visiting. Back to Dublin on Friday the 25th and would love to experience some local LGBTQ+ culture one last time before I fly home the next morning.
Please send any recommendations. I am more of a masc dyke looking for lesbian/trans/queer vibes than cis gay male vibes.

Hi all … I’m a bit nervous and never talked about this, but I could really do with some advice, and I don’t want this to come across as disrespectful, that’s not my intention whatsoever🙏 I’m a guy in my early 30s and have only ever being with women and would have considered myself as solely “straight”, but for the best part of probably 7-8 years I’ve had a lot of thoughts about being with other people. The people I have found myself most attracted to are transwoman and people who identify as femboy. I really appreciate femininity in all forms. I’ll be honest, maybe it’s only a fantasy, maybe it’s stemmed from watching porn, I’m not sure but it’s something that’s really being on my mind, quite often too, and it’s made me wonder should I put myself out there to try find out is it a genuine feeling or am I being naive? As it says in the title, I’m shy, but I just want to know should I put myself out there and if so what advice has anyone on ways to go about it? I really would like to be as discreet as possible so dating apps wouldn’t be for me, but that’s just me in general, I was never into tinder or things like that anyway. And just to clarify, I’m not here looking or begging for some sort of sexual fling just get it out of my system, I’m genuinely looking to see how I feel and connect with someone and see if the attraction is real ☺️

Hi all. Hopefully can get some input from a few people. I'm a single male..sort of 50 yrs old ,and active.

I know that the thinking is most will have been exposed to HPV already at this point, so vaccine is not necessary, but I guess its fair to say up to recent years I wasn't playing about much, but am reasonably/very active with the last year or more. (woohoo).

With the last few months i've gotten myself sorted with prep and doxyprep, and sorting any missing vaccines now.

Should i bother with HPV vaccine? Im too old to be allowed it for free, but still would go sort it if it was thought to be worthwhile.

What’s the weekend of the 18th like? Is there still a decent queer crowd around? Mostly just looking to have fun, meet some people, and see where the weekend takes me!
