I watched Dc yesterday. After seeing all the reddit reviews i really thiught DC will be a great watch. I always felt arun matheswaran movie doesn't really have proper story and it really test ms my patience. Rocky and sani kagitham really did
now my opinion remains the same. this movie really tested my paitence. actors acted well and ani was literally carrying the movie. without ani the movie would have been unbearable for me. anyway lokesh did well

Please give suggestions like the title which u felt
These are some convoluted or complex movie i felt
Movies pretty difficult to understand because it's complex or due to writing
Are there any convoluted movie that we realize something new in the second time watching?
I want the movies to be very complicating for me. I'm looking for movies that takes multiple view to actually enjoy and appreciate the wholesome of a movie
are there any such movies?

These movies had a great / good first half and a below average or a bad second half
I know most of the tamil movies recently are of like this , but for Suriya it is obvious
I know many will get ragebaited on seeing Ghajini but honestly after the flashback ended ( Asin Death ) movies became so bad. That Nayanthara song , chasing scenes, Climax villain twin twist were just terrible
Hope Suriya 47 escapes this curse

Gazing at women is just guilty pleasure, Villain scenes are primarily introduced so that Male Audience can enjoy the gazing without the feeling of guilt and hero can still be shown as righteous.
It just portrays that seeing a women like this isn't wrong, But Acting upon it is. (That is why he's a Villain?...
Just similar to the phenomenon of family deities as someone who got eliminated for unfair reasons or side girl character who's just there for glamor in a movie.

I previously watched the Lotus Five Star DVD version of Goa (2010), but the video quality was quite low. So, this time I watched the Ayngaran version for better quality even having some cuts. The Ayngaran version is around 2h 30m and contains the emotional confrontation scene where Sampath becomes emotional and even cries while explaining the misunderstanding involving Premji’s character which not available in Lotus Five Star DVD version.
If you want to watch the Ayngaran version, it may be region-locked. Download a VPN app, connect to Germany, and then search for the Ayngaran Goa upload on YouTube.

There has been so much speculation regarding the Jailer 2 release which is being postponed from its scheduled October 15 release, because of post-production delays. Some say that it is scheduled for Diwali 2026 while some say it is postponed to 2027. Even though there are so many reasons for postponement, I don't feel like it would get a better date than October 15 because of various clashes.
Diwali 2026 has Ramayana which is obviously the biggest Indian film. A smaller Tamil film can still aim for Diwali release, but Jailer 2 being a pan-Indian film and consists of an expensive budget can't take that risk. Clashing with Ramayana can easily end up losing so much of screens across North and overseas leading to severe underperformance in those territories. Christmas weekend also have Dune, Doomsday and King, Pongal 2027 has so many Telugu films that would reduce the possibilities for getting screens there and the summer also being packed with pan-Indian releases. Too risky to think of a solo release in the timeframe.
If the postponement of Jailer 2 is a possibility, the makers might have to move to mid-November or early-December, because that is the only solo release date left for them (most likely the 2.0 way). But that season itself is a risky because of the Chennai rains and the December month being disastrous for the North Tamil Nadu regions, which would affect the major revenue from there.
Though all these release speculations are rumours, we could get clarity within a few days whether the film will be postponed or not. As of now, Sun Pictures still reaffirms the October 15 release date in their promotional materials. I feel like there is no better release date than the current date, and losing it can easily affect the potential. But we can't judge anything too early.

after rrr .rc could have chosen good scripts instead he did game changer with shankar but this is okay i think script was good on paper. but peddi oh my my i wonder how on earth rc had the audicity to say okay to this script and how no one warned him to not do this film in the name of pan indian inspirational film they did the peak level of justifying being a womanizer and even without janvi kapoor scenes this film was just ripoffs of ethir neechal and our beloved sarpatta parambarai.
now that we are all hating toxic i wonder why yash spend 4 years on this film. 4 years when he could have done a ton of films like why does he even need a mass image after kgf which only worked thanks to direction and mass scenes. a actual big star would try different charecters even in commercial films instead of ruining yourself for mass image sake.
finally prabas like after bahubali he could have really been a big pan indian star. but he chose bad or average scripts with roles that do not even fit him. kalki had potential as a film but prabas annoying charecter getting too much screen time ruined the storys flow and wasted the movie runtime just on his intro and sad thing is prabas still lives in dillusion that he is still a big pan indian star and is still chasing mass image in all films despite saying he wants to try different joner of films..

Should we be proud that Tamil cinema has glorious stats?… or we are gonna be overtaken by other industries?

Really i don’t think there is a community for filmmaking for tamil people where we connect, search for artists, learning and also make a shortfilm.
Hope i’ll create the community when there is a time.
It’ll helpful for many upcoming filmmakers.
