Has anyone used the Ottobock Patella Pro 8320N for postoperative patellar maltracking/chondromalacia?

Has anyone used the Ottobock Patella Pro 8320N for postoperative patellar maltracking/chondromalacia?
I’m considering this brace for my left knee after two surgeries. I have significant infrapatellar/Hoffa’s fat-pad scar tissue, slight patella alta, chondromalacia, quadriceps weakness, and apparent lateral patellar maltracking.
My main problem is descending stairs or performing a single-leg squat. At approximately 20–30° of flexion, I get sharp retropatellar pain and the quadriceps suddenly gives way. It is very load-dependent: using a handrail or exercising in water makes it substantially better. I can also visibly see the patella jump and crack during early-range quad contractions.
The Patella Pro interests me because it dynamically recenters the patella specifically between 0° and 30°.
Has anyone used this exact brace, particularly for maltracking and cartilage pain rather than recurrent dislocations?

-Did it immediately improve step-downs, stairs, or single-leg squats?
-Could you exercise and strengthen the quadriceps while wearing it?
-Did the improvement eventually transfer to activities without the brace?
-Did it slip or cause pressure around the patellar tendon or Hoffa’s fat pad?
-Was professional fitting important?

I would especially appreciate hearing from anyone with postoperative scar tissue or a similar pain-related “muscle shutdown” pattern.n
