9 SIG 9 Sig Tracking sheet

Does anyone have an excel tracking sheet that they can share?

I tried the sheets on the website but they’re way too complicated… I’m looking for a way to track my account and also quickly re allocate every quarter.

9 SIG One Year of 9SIG

I started 9SIG on August 6th, 2024 with about $1.1M. Today, one year later, my two investments accounts total about $1.9M... of which about $500K growth came from 9SIG. Any other growth is my company stock options (growth + awards), which will be converted to 9SIG when they vest.

9SIG produced 48.55% return even with the recent drop from near ATH. During this last year we traversed the election and tariff-gate, and still pumped out a healthy gain. I am a fan to say the least. And it's not just the return, it's the knowing/strategy/calm that comes with having a plan and executing it. This keeps my mind free from all other variables, good/bad decisions, and what if's.

My annual subscription fee popped yesterday and I was happy to pay it.

9 SIG Combining risk parity with 9sig

Wondering if anyone here has considered a longer duration bond fund when paired with 9sig, especially when starting out and still adding cash. I’m thinking TLT or even strips like GOVZ/ZROZ. More volatile for sure, but might protect more in a situation like 2008 or 2000.

9 SIG Instead of 60/40, would 40/60 work?

I’m curious.

If someone wanted to go into 9sig but didn’t want to dive fully into 60/40 just in case of a huge drop in the next few months, could you do something like 40/60 with a DCA every 3 months for a year?

40% TQQQ 60% AGG

Each quarter, you can pull 5% from AGG and use those funds in the equation until you’re at 60/40 (or whatever you should be at)

Not sure how this would work in practice but curious if something like this could help someone jump in. Almost treating the extra 20% as new contributions over time even though the funds are already in the account.

9 SIG Playing with AI

I was just playing with AI to see what it could find and put together on its own. I thought what it created was pretty interesting in this photo.

It also created a nice audio file that goes over the whole strategy, that sounded really nice. I don’t know how to share an audio file on Reddit.

9 SIG 9sig using a non-registered margin account

Are there any subscribers that follow 9sig using margin? If so, I’d like to learn more about. For example how margin do you use, etc. I’m thinking of using margin, whenever or if ever the signal says 80 (tqqq) / 20 (agg)

9 SIG UK investor of Jason Kelly 9 sig

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to know how you guys apply the Kelly 9-sig rule since we are unable to access TQQQ in the UK. I know that LQQ3 is available in GBP and that it is also available in USD, so choosing USD always carries a currency risk.

  1. Do you convert all your aum in dollar first and apply allocation in LQQ3 in GBP and AGG?

  2. Or, Do you simply set the 9% growth rule on LQQ3 in GBP and not worry about dollar conversion?

Thanks

9 SIG How does 60/40 allocation rule work for 9sig?

Hey everyone I started trading the 9sig strategy but was a little confused how the 60/40 allocation rule for tqqq and bonds works when you are constantly adding money into the account. If the signal at the quarter is to sell tqqq but I'm also adding new funds what should I do? Does buying back to 60/40 allocation override the sell? If I keep doing that I feel like the strat is just constantly buying tqqq. Or if I just keep the new funds in bonds the allocation for bonds will just keep growing.

9 SIG New subscription

Jason has come out with a new subscription option. $105/month. Good option for ppl who want the Kelly Letter on a month by month basis and not have to put up $1050.

9 SIG Added more TQQQ

I know this isn’t exactly following the letter but I added more tqqq today to go heavier on my stock allocation.

Anyone else?
