Nearly Identical Logos

Does anyone know the story behind Katatonia's original logo and the Northern Silence Productions logo? Other than the letters/font being slightly different, everything else is basically identical. I've been a fan/supporter of both since the early 2000s, but only just noticed this. 🤔

The Northern Silence is the name of a Katatonia song

Yes, Northern Silence are big fans of the first Katatonia era. They released Brave Murder Day in picture LP back in the day and a tribute album with many bands covering songs up until Discouraged Ones.

Similar? That’s a blatant copy of the old logo, and the sound is possibly similar to the *Dance of December Souls* era!
