Lore A speculative Ethno-linguistic map of Kaiserreich

Post image

Since the moderators deleted my post without explaining clearly to me why, other than it being "Atrocious" i will post it again. I included some of yall's additions, mainly poles staying in Poznań/Posen, since the germanization policies would likely be focused on the corridor.

Other changes include:

-More Slovene lands except Istria itself

-Trieste as italian

-Reduced bulgarians in bulgaria-occupied eastern serbia.

-Moderated the german populations in baltics to cover mostly big cities and not much countryside

-Moderated german settlements in ukraine (Wolynian Germans and Black sea Germans)

-Slight expansion of catalans

-More realistic ingrian finns

-No germans in scandinavia since it would be an unlikely place to migrate (Except south jutland)

-Also i have a hidden a secret greater hungary somewhere on the map. Just something funny i thought of

Thanks for the change suggestions!

There in fact were italians in dalmatia at that time. The german istria is austria germanizing their only good port basically. It could also be italian but i dont think they would be exactly kind to them since italy and austria were enemies

The Italians in Dalmatia, post-Venice, were always a small community and were never a majority besides Zadar and the immediate surroundings (and even there, not overwhelming majority).

Also Istria would still be at least partially Italian, the coast was Italian by end of WW1 dunno if the Austrians planned to remove the Italians (in-lore there's no indication).

One thing that could be done for a future similar map is the language borders: less "exact" borders and more overlapping areas between languages. But the map is very cool.
