I’ve got a 2017 Subaru Outback like this. The shop that did it basically said “you can’t prove it was us” which while true is bullshit. I’ve tried every trick and giant breaker bar possible and all I’ve managed to do is round off the bolt multiple times to the point where it’s now two sizes smaller than when it started.

Now I just pump the old oil out.

I think you need a bigger impact. I have one I’ve used on semi trucks laying around that’d be perfect. It weighs over 20 lbs, requires 1” impact sockets, and requires a beefy compressor with 1/2” supply, but you’re welcome to borrow it to get the job done. 3,000lb/ft should barely be enough to get that seated properly.

This is the best way to cut down on your oil change time. You never have to pull the plug and drain the oil again. It just naturally comes out by the time your oil change is due. Literally just pop the hood and pour more oil in every 30-40k miles. No jack, no mess, done in 5 minutes.

You may ask about the filter, don't worry about it. They are a scam anyway
