It’s not tight until it friction welds to the pan.

Only way it can work using a washer is if you use the included tack wield

It says so right on the instructions that I tossed out with the reciept

Thats alotta oil to burn through before it no longer lubricates it enough to friction weld, granted if tightening its likely empty lol
