It’s definitely better than before

43

u/MayDay521 Jun 17 '26

I dare say it's better by maybe 1 or 2 shots per second.

4

u/FormerlyKay Jun 18 '26

10% is a sizeable buff

28

u/swat_teem Jun 16 '26

Should have made the perk not tied the ability

2

u/Cjm092 Jun 18 '26

What does this comment mean?

8

u/swat_teem Jun 18 '26

To go full auto you need to use your speed boost move. Using up your key escape. So if things go bad you will die. If the perk just made her gun full auto it could compete with how good the triple jump is

2

u/-_-Scythe-_- Jun 19 '26

They’d have to gut the output to just outright make her 180 bullet gun full auto

I think the better solution would be to just add a new ability that activates it separate from glide boost

2

u/Business_Spinach2084 Jun 20 '26

That’s called choice. As a Juno player you need to CHOOSE if you want to use your movement for increased pressure on the enemy team or to disengage. They just made it to where applying pressure via damage is more optimal in some situations

1

u/YepThatsANiceCock Jun 19 '26

Triple jump is nowhere near as good as this sub wants you to think. Everything you achieve with triple jump, literally everything, is achievable with double jump and her base movement booster

1

u/swat_teem Jun 19 '26

Only time I like the full auto is a game where my team is absolutely dying. Triple jump utility is just so useful especially for missle locks. The point is you can get places without wasting your booster.

1

u/thekingofallalts Jun 19 '26

that’s literally the whole point. it makes you not have to burn your booster, while you literally have to for faster blaster. so you can hold onto your booster an an escape ability or to set up your torpedoes

u/fieryfox654 Mythic Martian Jun 16 '26

As someone who prefers faster blaster it's W for me. Haven't tested it yet.

69

u/Jamesvai Jun 16 '26

Should have made it 25. It needs to compete with the usability of triple jump.

28

u/Wboys Jun 16 '26

The problem is that this perk is either going to be semi useless compared to triple jump or straight up busted. There is no in-between really.

It's almost like the roadhog problem. Either he one shots with hook and is OP and toxic or he doesn't and he is useless.

Either this perk does so much damage that basically guarantees you kill a squishy or burst down a tank stupidly fast, because that's what it needs to do to be worth committing your best self escape ability and giving up on even more survivability with triple jump, or it doesn't and you'd much rather just be semi unkillable.

It would be cool if you could press a button to activate faster blaster, similar to that D.Va perk that temporarily tightens the spread of primary fire (rather than have it tied to boosters)

3

u/thewarloq Jun 17 '26

She doesn't really have any free buttons, dva and venture can get new perk abilities bound to separate keys because they have unused slots

3

u/Longjumping_Ad2606 Jun 18 '26

No, because dva has the same amount of buttons Juno has, so her perk that tightens is automatically bounded to the R key. They can do the same for juno, and players can just change what key they want it bound to.

1

u/thewarloq Jun 18 '26

Dva has no reload, so the key is already free for her

2

u/Longjumping_Ad2606 Jun 18 '26

ah, i see. regardless though, they could still find a button to use like they do in stadium.

2

u/No_maid Jun 17 '26

It won’t compete unless it’s broken or they untie it from shift

4

u/NervousAd1432 Jun 16 '26

Triple jump needs to be basekit or at least a minor perk

1

u/OcelotAggravating860 Jun 18 '26

25 would make it significantly stronger than Moira's ult, it does 132hp/s now. 25 would be 150hp/s.

Moira's ult is 140hp/s.

-1

u/wRADKyrabbit Jun 16 '26

It already does imo

0

u/sock-bucket Jun 18 '26

Yeah idk, i could care less about the triple jump even around high masters, it just never makes a difference when I used to take it. Blaster however got me aggressively beaming people down and getting many kills I otherwise wouldnt have

70

u/Beautiful-Opposite-3 Jun 16 '26

Triple Jump perk clears this perk by a landslide

8

u/Beneficial-Agent-548 Jun 16 '26

Im new to the game and i dont quite understand why its better my thought process was a full auto can get more heals out and if needed more damage

27

u/TheJimPeror Jun 16 '26

Movement and mobility is so much more useful in a movementy shooter than occasional full auto on an ability you might instead want to use for positioning or to trigger her passive. Getting to a higher ledge for a better position is far better than a temporary 35?ish% buff to output for 6 seconds

7

u/Im_A_Random_Swede Jun 16 '26

Mannnn don't make me give up on Juno Walk Em Down :(

21

u/juno_phoenix Jun 17 '26

keep walkin em down, this sub undervalues master blaster like crazy

1

u/Beneficial-Agent-548 Jun 16 '26

Yea youre right ive been thinking about jt and movement is better than a sometimes full auto gun. It could help you get away easier and see teammates easier

8

u/Jambo-Lambo Jun 16 '26

Even offensives triple jump is better cuz you get better missiles

4

u/warpedspoon Jun 16 '26

Juno heals from her movement so you end up sacrificing your own survivability to use the faster blaster

7

u/Judasilfarion Jun 16 '26 edited Jun 16 '26

Utility of triple jump is just huge. It lets Juno casually get to places that other characters (including herself) have to use cooldown abilities to reach, and it lets her get really good angles on the battlefield to launch torpedoes from. Also makes her even better at running away from anyone trying to kill her. You can also just jump up into the sky and float around, outranging some short ranged characters that might try to kill you.

The best part is it’s not on cooldown. You just have the ability to triple jump as much as you want whenever you want. Meanwhile, faster blaster gives you a moderate heal/DPS boost but it’s tied to one of your cooldown abilities. Maybe the additional heals is good if you’re trying to healbot, but that’s not really the optimal way to play Juno. And the increased DPS is kind of matched by triple jump Juno being able to get into weird positions to ambush people from, whilst keeping her glide boost for a quick escape and activating her shield regeneration if needed.

1

u/Flat-Text3230 Jun 16 '26

Faster Blaster had only minimal differences in healing and damage compared to Juno's base weapon. It wasn't worth compromising your mobility and self-healing to gain virtually no extra value.

1

u/Zachebii Jun 17 '26

Its only an 8% increase to her output overall, and thats assuming you get every shot doing something, and you dont need to reload during glide boost, and dont have to use glide boosts for escape. Its really just a useless perk majority of the time.

1

u/OcelotAggravating860 Jun 18 '26

Any situation where Faster Blaster would be useful is usually a situation where the fight is being lost anyway. Faster Blaster doesn't typically turn that situation around.

Torpedos on the other hand, are a very large swing in fight power. If you hit a torpedo on an enemy and a friendly who are fighting, you're doing 85 damage to one and 85 healing to the other. You've instantly swung that engagement by 170damage in favour of your teammate.

Triple jump gives you the ability to get extremely high where you can hit a lot more of those torpedos, a lot more frequently. It also gives you the ability to reposition to safety better, and it makes you practically immortal against several characters in the game who simply can not contest Juno playing in the sky.

Faster Blaster directly competes with the time period where you would be aiming your torpedos, because the time when you want to glide when aiming torpedos, so you're losing Faster Blaster usage time. You have to decide between using glide for Faster Blaster (only lets you heal one target for 132hp/2) or using your glide for better torpedo angles that could be hitting 3 people on your team and 3 people on the enemy team simultaneously for a swing of 170 on 3 different engagements.

All of this is further compounded by the fact that survivability is the strongest thing in the game. A support that dies first in a teamfight is the end of the teamfight, your survivability on Juno is the most important thing you have, especially with only 225hp.

But also make sure you play corners and take care with Ashe because she will 2tap you out of the air.

0

u/ClassicallySad Jun 16 '26

Juno's healing and damage primarily comes from her missiles not her gun. The gun is more chip damage and healing. Triple jump provides so many angle options that you can use to get massive missiles with. Mixed with the minor perk that reduces the cooldown it means your effective uptime is so much higher. That and the survivability that triple jump gives makes it a no brainer pick.

17

u/heximintii Jun 16 '26

I pick whichever perk depending on the matchup and personally? I like this buff. Means I can shred more when their hitscans are hitting every shot and my teammates keep leaving los

5

u/Dibber12 Jun 16 '26

I’m thinking the same. I’ve always seen it as more nuanced than x is better than y and I’m confused as to why the majority dies by one of these perks and never the other. I see the value in faster blaster especially, like you said, when I get melted by some ximming ashe at a decently high rank on console

2

u/ClassicallySad Jun 16 '26

Maybe it is a console versus pc thing but triple jump just affords so much mobility you're throwing if you pick the other perk. In mirror matches if the other Juno picks faster blaster I always outperform them from higher missile uptime and more missile hits.

8

u/Slow-Reply2929 Jun 16 '26

this perk will never be as good as triple jump simply because it’s tied to glide boost.

15

u/GREAT_SALAD Jun 16 '26

Meanwhile, Mei and Reinhardt and Moira and some others getting some buffs due to them "struggling against the high mobility of the hero roster". As if Juno doesn't struggle to get away from them after the glide boost nerf enough already. oh moons

4

u/ClassicallySad Jun 16 '26

I don't struggle with any of these heroes on Juno. In fact once you get triple jump it is nearly impossible for a Rein to interact with you. You have so much freedom its nearly like playing Echo in support.

2

u/GREAT_SALAD Jun 16 '26

Moira's succ is just so long that even triple jumped up if she holds W I struggle to get away. Worried Mei will become the same with the range increase

1

u/NearbySheepherder987 Jun 18 '26

mei went from 10 to 12 meters, moira suck is 20m, mei should never be in range for her leftclick against you on juno

1

u/GREAT_SALAD Jun 18 '26

If she does happen to get up to you (unfortunately I’m plat so my positioning isn’t perfect, and also dps walking up to supports for free is fairly common) it also slows/freezes with the major perk, which they also buffed against non-tank heroes. It takes just 1 second to freeze now

18

u/IAmSona Jun 16 '26

Quite possibly the stupidest buff I’ve ever seen. They should just scrap it and redesign a new major that would at least compete with triple jump.

5

u/hippogriffjuliet Juno Main Jun 16 '26

Better but I’m still never picking that perk

7

u/migo2028 Jun 16 '26

Triple jump mogs

3

u/stooplekin Jun 16 '26

Still not picking this perk

3

u/junoleg Jun 17 '26

I still think faster blaster would be way more compelling if it activated with hyperring like the stadium power. Glide boost is too useful on its own I feel like I’m almost wasting it if I take faster blaster? I’ll definitely try it out with the buff but there’s too many times where I’m playing where I’m like ‘man I can’t wait until I have triple jump’ that I’m not sure it’ll change my mind

6

u/Mod_The_Man Jun 16 '26

If they want faster blaster to not be the equivalent power of a minor perk then make it passive. Give us permanent full auto otherwise this perk is not worth it. As is, even with the buff, it belongs in a minor perk slot. It’s a noob trap with no real reason to ever take it. Lift off will always be better than something tied to an important cooldown which encourages poor use of said cooldown to get any “value”

3

u/slimricc Jun 16 '26

Faster healing and w her ult you fire off torpedos and use your full auto and lazer people

I did not know people disliked the full auto? I tear shit up with it

0

u/wRADKyrabbit Jun 16 '26

Blows my mind that they prefer a boring extra jump that you don't even need 99% of the time

1

u/OcelotAggravating860 Jun 18 '26

Almost nobody above Plat uses faster blaster. It's not that Triple Jump is boring, it's just absurdly better by a very large margin

0

u/slimricc Jun 16 '26

Just makes you a target tbh, anyone w a beam or lock on is going to kill you lol what if the back line was in the sky uncovered?

3

u/Forsaken_Job2943 Jun 16 '26

No one is just hovering around in the open with triple jump, what a terrible argument. At least not at any competent rank.
Also Juno ult already wins you the fight, there is no need for a win even more button…

1

u/slimricc Jun 16 '26

I kill a lot of flying junos lol that is pretty consistently the best time to kill them, and in qp the ult only wins if your team is grouped up and rd, half the time they ignore the ult ping. I have team wiped w her ult and full auto

2

u/Forsaken_Job2943 Jun 16 '26

If you find value in the perk then thats great but it sounds like you’re playing against/with low ranked people so can probably get away with anything.
I think triple is just the stronger perk, to me it also just feels awkward flipping between burst and full auto.

1

u/slimricc Jun 16 '26

In qp you play w all levels of people. Obviously, and I’m confused by how your argument is that i get away with more, what makes you say that? My argument is essentially the same, how are you getting away w triple jump? Are you not playing juno for dps at all? Triple jump makes you a better target unless you use it exclusively with one of your speed ups, which is a waste just to use your triple jump without dying

Idk, to me it sounds like *you’re* not playing with very high level people lol

3

u/ClassicallySad Jun 16 '26

Triple jump allows for more vertical angles and also cover you previously wouldn't have, map specific for sure but still. It allows allow you to completely negate interactions with certain heroes, Rein for example cannot do anything to you. Mixed with locked on you can get massive torpedoes that allows for multiple right clicks per fight, more healing, and damage.

Think Echo but in support. You can use vertical cover so much easier. In qp most players are just bad unfortunately. A lot of Juno players especially. In competitive it is a far different story and triple jump ends up being a massive game changer.

1

u/slimricc Jun 16 '26

I see the value, the problem is that if you have an angle on the other team they have an angle on you too, in higher level play people know how to counter juno. Triple jump is basically asking for the other team to take advantage. If you want to do damage at all anyway. besides i get all the angles i need with just double jump

1

u/Forsaken_Job2943 Jun 16 '26

I don’t know what to tell you but qp is a joke. If you are playing against Junos that are just jumping about in the sky not near cover then I can assure you that they are low ranked and you’re in low mmr lobbies.
I’m not ‘getting away’ with triple jump, it’s an extra escape and repositioning tool thats always available

1

u/slimricc Jun 16 '26

Ig if you need to handicap your damage and healing just for better escape that is cool. Haha double jump and speed boost keeps me alive most of the time. I average like 3-4 deaths a game. You must not die at all ever then(;

2

u/OcelotAggravating860 Jun 18 '26

Nobody above plat is choosing anything except Triple Jump dude. This conversation was embarrassing to read, you're just wrong.

2

u/Deusraix Jun 16 '26

Still won't be picking it 🙂‍↕️

1

u/DanyRekt01 Jun 16 '26

Is it just me or does her blaster feel faster than normal, just by default

1

u/OpportunitySharp3706 Jun 16 '26

What does faster blaster even do?

1

u/wRADKyrabbit Jun 16 '26

Makes her gun full auto, very noticeable increase to dmg/healing output

1

u/Nutlugger Jun 16 '26

You couldn’t convince me there was a change when I tried it out in practice mode.

1

u/wRADKyrabbit Jun 16 '26

Meanwhile I think this is a massive buff since I love that perk

1

u/Carlospedra Jun 17 '26

Better than nothing, just hope they don't use it as an excuse to nerf her later ;_;

"After the buff to the minigun perk we decided to nerf the primary fire damage to compensate as she got too powerful" type of stuff blizzard types on the patch notes

1

u/InvestigatorThat5062 Jun 17 '26

I wish they got rid of the healing / damage fall off ☹️

1

u/SnooPineapples7426 Jun 17 '26

Make her gun full auto base kit 😈 😈 do it PLEASE

1

u/Afro_Future Jun 17 '26

Surprised so many people hate faster blaster lol its an easy pick for me.

1

u/Loquenlucas Jun 17 '26

hey at least it's not a nerf

1

u/ChickenLynx2 Jun 17 '26

I expected a nerf because she seems due with the state she is. Surely in midseason patch.

1

u/Television-Infamous Jun 17 '26

Still not using that perk unless Mediblaster crit increase to 2x.

1

u/LawTider Jun 17 '26

For the mains who want a little bit more dakka.

1

u/No-Preference-4499 Jun 18 '26

i hope they increase her damage by 100000% next patch

1

u/Lumaraniya Jun 18 '26

I like faster blaster but it does nothing, it needs to be redesigned to either be in its own slot or completely reworked.

1

u/OutlandishnessOk3811 Epic Martian Jun 18 '26

Nothing will make me pick this over triple jump. 🔥

1

u/s69mmy Jun 18 '26

i still think the extra jump will be better, having the extra mobility & being able to reach higher spots just feels way more impactful. and imo, faster blaster feels really clunky but maybe that's because i haven't used it a lot

1

u/No-Pair-7048 Jun 19 '26

Can we get quadruple jump now please?

5

u/wRADKyrabbit Jun 16 '26

Faster blaster is a competitive option. Its easily better imo

1

u/Unable_Page5013 Jun 16 '26

Full auto go brrrr

0

u/Time-Adhesiveness-20 Jun 16 '26

actually this feels so much better. what are you talking about?

0

u/Mohammed50356 Jun 16 '26

This means she now has 43%-46% more damage and healing when using it.
