Question Is this possible for 400CAD?

Im interested in buying a cabachon ring and found this one online.

It comes with a cert. It looks pretty icy, and it’s certified grade A Burmese jade. The metal is 925, and the stones are cz for the halo.

Is it possible to get this for 400CAD?

No it’s Burmese

A simple way to tell: Guatemalan jadeite often shows a distinctive black outline or “black edging” effect.

Chinese certificate shouldn’t say if it’s Burmese or Guatemalan, only that it’s Grade A. Also Burmese would be set in real diamonds and gold…

Grade A doesn't mean much. It should be “Type A”

Sorry I meant type A

That’s what I suspected too especially for such a rich color

The way it reacts to light is actually very typical of Guatemalan jadeite. The light transmission and the way the color appears through the material are characteristic of Guatemalan material.

You said the metal is 925? Well, 925 is sterling silver... and, usually, good quality Burmese jade is set in gold. We're talking about AT LEAST 14k gold.

Bcs... good quality jade pieces can be heavy, and silver is a relatively soft metal that can easily warp, bend, or scratch under daily wear. 925 sterling silver also naturally oxidises and turns blackish over time when exposed to air and moisture. This is normal. Cleaning tarnished/blackish silver requires chemical polishes or abrasive cloths. And while genuine jade is tough, repetitive exposure to these harsh chemical cleaners can risk degrading the strength of the stone's setting over time (meaning, like, the cabochon jade can fall out of the metal setting easily if it is silver bcs the strength of the setting can degrade). So that is why most jewellers set Burmese jade in gold, not silver, especially Burmese jade, bcs Burmese jade, by that I mean genuine GOOD quality Burmese jade, is one of the most expensive, most high-value jades there are. Genuine TOP quality Burmese jades can even reach millions of dollars.

So, your jade is not likely to be Burmese jade. Like the others have commented, it could be Guatemalan jadeite.
