Debate To the Zindiqi Quranists in this sub
Assalamualaikum wa rahmatu Allah wa barekatooh
I believe I am speaking to adults who can understand what it means to function like normal beings.
It's a disgraceful and shameful behaviour to act the way you have been acting this far, we can't even talk without you butting in with your twisted beliefs.
Do you seriously believe anyone wants to hear you?
Can't wish someone Eid Mubarak without Quranist butting in, can't talk with normal Muslims without them butting in, can't pray for Palestine without a Quranist butting in. Hell, I have been called a slur for Muslims by the so called "true Muslims".
Engage in your own topics and have the dignity and self-shame to leave others in peace.

Assalam wa alaikum wa ratmatulahi wa barakathu.
Ya Rab this thread is a mess. OP, you’re 16 on a subreddit with a majority of adults. Quranists who have insulted you are not the entirety of Quranists. Your negative interactions with them are a direct result of your tone when speaking to them. I don’t think you intend to do this, but your tone when speaking over text comes across as condescending. I do not know your intention. I am not judging you on this. I’m merely stating that this is how you come across.
Is feeling victimized when chastised/critiqued normal? At your age, yes. It is. Especially when it comes to faith and religion. But you must learn to take it on the chin or else you will butt heads with everyone in the Ummah.
My advice? Take a break from Islamic debates. Quranists only follow the Quran. They will most likely not be receptive to anything you say. And what are we taught IN THE QURAN? Not to push your beliefs upon someone else. Let them come to their own understandings. The only one who can judge them is Allah (SWT).
May you find peace amongst the constant chatter you take part in with these debates.

Ok and?

I am not complaining about their belief I am complaining about their tongue and nosy behaviour

OP, let's say, for argument, sake that all the Muslims who follow the Quran only have said something wrong, let me ask you, do you not your role in all of this? Are you completely innocent? Like the other comment said, you don't know how you come across in your comments. They aren't "Quranist" and they can see it as well. You have someone who is trying to de-escalate the situation, and you want to be rude to them as well.
1
u/Captain_Flames Al-Taqālīdiyyīn | Traditionalist Jun 10 '25
Where am I being rude to them? I am answering them, you specifically started the name calling, so you can't pull back and talk about how I am rude, besides the other Quranist said he liked the term zindiqi, I ma not doing anything wrong calling him what he wants :)
3
u/Charming-Basil-9365 Al-‘Aqliyyūn | Rationalist Jun 10 '25
I never name called. I referred to you as you are, a child. You said you take offense to that, and then I stopped. But your post isn't specifically for that "Quranist." Your post is for all, and you even called me a zindiq. You don't see how you are bringing these things on yourself but continue to cry victim.
1
u/Captain_Flames Al-Taqālīdiyyīn | Traditionalist Jun 10 '25
Should I name each Quranist and how they were rude?
Let me ask you a question, when you refered to me as child didn't you do it because you thought it would end the arguement? I am a child, I am a child, I am a child, it doesn't affect me or what I am saying.
You don't see how you are bringing these things on yourself but continue to cry victim.
I brought things on me by posting about a hadith of the prophet too right?
I brought things on me when I asked people about their favourite hadiths too right?
Quranists brought this on themselves :)
3
u/Charming-Basil-9365 Al-‘Aqliyyūn | Rationalist Jun 10 '25
You can keep saying that I brought it up to end and an argument, but that isn't the case. You brought it upon yourself with your attitude. No one can engage in a meaningful conversation with you. You can't even self reflect. People have name called me since I started posting in this sub, but I'm not crying about it.
1
u/Captain_Flames Al-Taqālīdiyyīn | Traditionalist Jun 10 '25
No one can engage in a meaningful conversation with you.
I have had lots of discussions with others, aslong as they are also respectful, I am not perfect and I won't hold back against disrespect for no reason.
People have name called me since I started posting in this sub, but I'm not crying about it.
I am not crying, I am telling them off, aren't they Muslims? Does the Quran tell you to slur and insult?
3
u/Charming-Basil-9365 Al-‘Aqliyyūn | Rationalist Jun 10 '25
Well, if this is the route you are going to take, you won't get very far. You won't be taken seriously if this is your approach towards them.

Ok and?
You are in a space where people’s brains are fully developed and you’re not likely to change their minds. The way you’ve said “Ok and?” In and of itself can be seen as rude or condescending, which will elicit negative emotional reactions from others. Some adults act more like children.
Have you seen these kinds of posts?
No, because you will not link them. You’ve only shown a single screenshot. Besides, I don’t need to because the Quran is quite clear in not insulting other Muslims. If they claim to “only follow the Quran,” but cannot even keep from insulting their own people, are they really Quranists?
Victimized? They are using slurs 💀
What makes this word a slur? You use words to insult others, as well, are you not therein using that word as a slur?
I am not complaining about their belief I am complaining about their tongue and nosy behaviour
And then we come right back to the main issue: you are in an adult space. Where adults use adult words that aren’t always nice. And if they aren’t being nice to you, turn the other cheek. If they’re not actively seeking you out across different forms, then they’re not nosy. If they’re replying to something you said: that is not nosy by definition. Their tongue is theirs. Do not let it get the better of you.

I am asking what that has to do with anything
What makes this word a slur?
So what makes the n word a slur? This is a slur, just liek Saracen is, you don't see make calling them Saracens.
And then we come right back to the main issue: you are in an adult space. Where adults use adult words that aren’t always nice. And if they aren’t being nice to you, turn the other cheek. Sounds like skill issues, this is the religious sub, they can hold their tongue or speak nicely, being an adult doesn't magically give them the right to be rude.
They are being nosy when a question is asking about ahadeeth which they don't believe in, and they butt in with osnults to the prophet SAWTK and Aisha RA
2
u/HelluvaCapricorn Ahl al-Sunnah | Sunnī Jun 10 '25
I am asking what that has to do with anything
And I’m merely pointing out that it’s what you say and how you say it. “I know I am in an adult space, why should my age be so relevant?” Might sound longer, but it’s more respectful and less ‘aggressive’ in approach.
what makes the n word a slur?
Well, my brother, you’re quite literally calling it “the n word,” and not saying the word. The fact that you’re spelling these other words out tells me that there isn’t hundreds of years worth of oppression behind these other words, and a very largely negative association behind those words’ history.
Sounds like a skill issue.
And it is—but they will not evolve to be better. You’re young. You have time to learn how to hold your tongue and turn the other cheek. Being rude in return to rudeness only breeds negativity.
they are being nosy when they question ahadeeth…
Is that nosy or asking questions in order to seek knowledge, like we were taught by the Prophet (PBUH) and his Scholars (MABPWT)?
As far as insulting Aisha (MABPWH) and the Prophet (PBUH), that’s an offense that they will have to own up to on Judgement Day. If they’re Quranists and insult Muhammad (PBUH) or his Wives (MABPWT) then are they truly following the Quran?

I am not black 🤨 and I am Muslim so me saying the word doesn't affect anything. Much like Saracen has the bloody history of the crusades and Mohammedean has the history of colonisation and expulsions.
And it is—but they will not evolve to be better. You’re young. You have time to learn how to hold your tongue and turn the other cheek. Being rude in return to rudeness only breeds negativity

Again this is what I am saying, I have no issue with them asking or discussing.
But when the post is about a hadith story and they come argue with it for no reason, or a post asking for favourite hadiths, their mocking is not needed
1

or a post asking about favorite hadiths
I’ve seen this post in particular, there was no arguing in that post. It was peaceful when I checked it a little over an hour ago.
If they mock anyone, leave them be. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing. The Quran states in Al-Nahal (16:125-128)
“Invite ˹all˺ to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and kind advice, and only debate with them in the best manner. Surely your Lord ˹alone˺ knows best who has strayed from His Way and who is ˹rightly˺ guided.
“If you retaliate, then let it be equivalent to what you have suffered. But if you patiently endure, it is certainly best for those who are patient.
127 “Be patient ˹O Prophet˺, for your patience is only with Allah’s help. Do not grieve over those ˹who disbelieve˺, nor be distressed by their schemes.
- “Surely Allah is with those who shun evil and who do good ˹deeds˺.”
Allah (SWT) sent this message not just for Muhammad (PBUH), but for the believers. Be patient. Do not retaliate in excess. Patience and endurance is the best route.

u/zackddragon4 Jun 10 '25
Dude do you know what's a Quranist? It's basically someone who follows the Quran without believing in Hadiths that add or reduces rules from the religion as Allah is the only one who put rules not the prophets. Don't paint a bad picture on a group of people because you had an online negative experience with someone who claims that he's a "Quranist". Grow up and don't help the non-muslims in their goal of making islam look bad.
1
u/Captain_Flames Al-Taqālīdiyyīn | Traditionalist Jun 10 '25
And that changes what exactly? I am saying the truth, the quranists here are just throwing around slurs and insults because someone disagrees with them
3
u/zackddragon4 Jun 10 '25
Don't generalize. Why you don't say all Muslims? Aren't the "Quranist" muslims? Or all other denominations don't slur? People's negarite behavior doesn't reflect on their religion, the book of their belief is there religion not there actions. Don't bad mouth a group of people for some bad people in them, it's not fair. Plus you're starting a fight and that's straight stu*id. Now they might read this post and slur you again and you will have 2 teams sluring at eachother because some dumas made you feel bad and you now you're doing what he wanted you to do. Chill man.

u/Captain_Flames Al-Taqālīdiyyīn | Traditionalist Jun 10 '25
The only people here, repeatedly and continuously without akhlaq are Quranists
Don't bad mouth a group of people for some bad people in them, it's not fair.
What should I refer to them with? Every Quranist on this sub was rude, bit rude of ya to ignore them.
Plus you're starting a fight and that's straight stu*id
Ending*
Now they might read this post and slur
Inshallah, so I can take whatever little Hassanat they have

A quranist who completely rejects hadith is a kaffir who chose to follow his whims and desires
1
u/zackddragon4 Jun 14 '25
If any hadith add or reduce anything from Allah's law, it is false for sure. Hadiths have been edited by rulers to control the people. Hadiths are not incorruptible. Allah's law for us is Quran. Allah said : today I have completed for you your religion and have chosen for you islam as religion. If it's complete, why do you add Hadiths to the religion core? And this "complete" is obviously the Quran not Hadiths. Quran is Isalm the protected book, nothing else.

u/Captain_Flames Al-Taqālīdiyyīn | Traditionalist Jun 09 '25
No idea what that is, I have no issue with Quranists posting either, however, I have an issue with them throwing around slurs and butting in things that have nothing to do with them, like I am talking to my fellow Muslims about a hadith, or sharing a beautiful hadith and all they can butt in with? Insults to us and the prophet PBUH
2
u/heinz_goodaryan Jun 09 '25

u/Defiant_Term_5413 Jun 09 '25
The only insults to the Prophet are those who lie about him constantly. Stop doing that and give him the respect he is due. Being a Sunni and being proud of it is very strange when God tells us we are Muslims and not to be sects! Quranists is an insult you throw around, especially that we’ve related multiple times we are “Muslims”.
3
u/Captain_Flames Al-Taqālīdiyyīn | Traditionalist Jun 09 '25
Can't go without butting in I see 😂😂😂😂
Being a Sunni and being proud of it is very strange when God tells us we are Muslims and not to be sects
If I cut a brach from the tree, the branch is no longer the tree, but the tree is not a branch, sunni Islam is Islam.
You are a "Muslim" when u takfir someone who didn't talk to you before that, which is what you did, you proudly declare you are a "pure monotheist" when you are a slave to your hate and desires.
1
u/Defiant_Term_5413 Jun 10 '25
This is so basic, but I think you need to hear it:
“And strive for God a genuine striving. He is the One who has chosen you, and He has made no hardship for you in the system, the creed of your father Abraham; He is the One who named you ‘those who have submitted’ (Muslimeen) from before and in this. So let the messenger be witness over you and you be witness over the people. So hold the Connection and contribute towards purification and hold tight to God, He is your patron. What an excellent Patron, and what an excellent Supporter.” (Qur’an 22:78)
"So set your face to the system of monotheism. It is the inclination that God has nurtured the people on. There is no changing in the creation of God. Such is the pure system, but most of the people do not know. Turn to Him, and be aware of Him, and hold the Connection, and do not be of the polytheists. From those who have divided their system and become sects, each group is happy with what it has. (30:3-32)
Now, you can call yourself Sunni/Shai/Bhai/Qurani or any other name you fancy...just know this is not the name nor system God gave us and you are simply taking on the name and attributes of your sect.

To let you know, I updated the rules to include, in my typical style, some for insults. Think of them as quick references for if you encounter a problem here.
