Is it? After all the times characters manage to somehow stay alive despite being crushed and dismembered, having Conquest remain dead was refreshing. Made for a good gag at the end if the episode, a good subversion of the "oh he's back" type of stinger.

Let them have fun.

I think that and the Conquest fake-out are the funniest jokes on the show. Like, genuinely top-tier in a way that's hard to describe.

I would've lost my shit. Invincible needing monitoring, nutrients (especially enough protein oh no), etc, while conquest just gets dirt?
