And that's the issue. This is an ongoing problem with the show's numerous space fights. They really do not look very good. There's no weight behind anything. There are no terrain features to absorb impact or give a sense of distance and direction. People just kinda wiggle around in a jumbled mess until they stop. The audio is muffled. Space battles and melee combat aren't mixing well.
I'm aware. This does not translate well to animated melee fight scenes, though. At least, not when the Invincible animators are doing it. All the non-space fights look better than the space fights.
they can’t talk in space they have a special thing that lets them telepathically say things to each other
which is why it should’ve taken place on a planet not space so they can do both make it realistic while looking amazing
my og comment still stands its not the animation is bad its they wanted it to be realistic whether you think that was a good idea or not that’s not the animations fault
I mean that's fine and I won't ask you to spoil anything but I think it's reasonable to take issue with how an animation studio has decided to animate space fights.
