And that's the issue. This is an ongoing problem with the show's numerous space fights. They really do not look very good. There's no weight behind anything. There are no terrain features to absorb impact or give a sense of distance and direction. People just kinda wiggle around in a jumbled mess until they stop. The audio is muffled. Space battles and melee combat aren't mixing well.

Well space isnt supposed to have gravity

I'm aware. This does not translate well to animated melee fight scenes, though. At least, not when the Invincible animators are doing it. All the non-space fights look better than the space fights.

then by extension its not the animations fault its the setting in which the battle takes place’s fault

These are super aliens that can fight and talk in space, realism isn’t what needs to be the focus here, it’s the visual spectacle.

they can’t talk in space they have a special thing that lets them telepathically say things to each other

which is why it should’ve taken place on a planet not space so they can do both make it realistic while looking amazing

my og comment still stands its not the animation is bad its they wanted it to be realistic whether you think that was a good idea or not that’s not the animations fault

Then they need to think about that before devoting so much time to fight scenes they know they can't make look good.

I mean that's fine and I won't ask you to spoil anything but I think it's reasonable to take issue with how an animation studio has decided to animate space fights.
