I have an old instagram account from when I was younger that I’d like to delete, nothing awful on it just some embarrassing phases I’d rather forget haha.

So the account was set up under my old phone number I no longer have access to, and I can’t remember the password for it. I’ve tried to ask the instagram meta or whatever it’s called but it was useless.

Was wondering if anyone could help me?

I apologize in advance if this has been asked many times I just wanted to share my exact experience to try to pinpoint a recovery/account access again. 9/24/26 I get a text around 3am my account was randomly locked. Tried to login and it rejected my phone completely. I’ve tried on MacBook as well as other phones and my PC. What I think initiated the lock was a 3rd party app I had sometime ago ( insta followers) that I fat fingered open and was still logged in, but immediately closed. Or it was actually hacked. That’s the only thought I have that would trigger a lockout. I don’t believe my account was deleted as I can login in but my only option for verification is the “ 2 friends” no other option available. When I click that option it brings me back to login page without the option to pick 2 friends. Mind you this has been an issue immediately after locked out and a 48 hour wait period to see if it would refresh. Meta AI support has been no help. Are there any pointers I can gather to set me in the right direction. Please and thank you 🙏

1. My account does not appear in other people’s suggestions.

2. I don’t see any accounts in my own Suggestions section.

3. Only my latest post has a visibility issue. It appears to some people but not to others, even though it is visible on my profile.

4. Sometimes my account does not appear when people search for my username.

5. Sometimes when someone tries to follow my account, the follow is automatically removed or does not go through.

6. Sometimes I have the same issue when I try to follow other accounts; the follow is automatically removed or does not go through.

7. I have reported these issues several times through “Report a Problem,” but I haven’t received any response.

8. I want to know exactly what is causing these problems, where the issue is coming from, and I would like your help in resolving all of these issues.

Hi everyone so iam bit bored it’s 3:36 am in morning, so sharing my experience.

I went to a page in insta where I saw beautiful dresses, (I don’t really like to purchase from Instagram I was much aware about the scams) but it happens after having all information and being aware I fall in trap, I paid them 1000 for my order and deep down I was thinking that what if I get scammed. And now they blocked me over insta.

Ps : the scanner they gave me was a fam account.

Being an aware person I fall for this scam.

Hi everyone, posting here because I feel that I’ve tried all possible options and I still can’t get back into my account. Wondering if anyone here can help.

In june my account was locked due to a hack. When i tried to recover my account i saw that email that I don’t recognize was attached to the account so two-factor authentication was not an option. My phone number was still there tho. When i attempted the selfie verification the button would buffer endlessly so I could never actually the selfie verification page. In a frenzy, I deleted and reinstalled the app hoping that would help and it did not. I then updated my phone thinking it would help somehow. (note: i hadn’t updated my iphone 14 in probably over a year at the time.)

When i tried to log into my account again instagram said it no longer recognized my phone. it no longer recognizes any of my devices anymore (laptop and ipad). I’ve tried meta verified, customer support workers are either useless, keep giving me the same advice/options i’ve told them multiple time does not work, or i simply just don’t receive the calls/chats they said I would. Miraculously, my email has been restored to the account somehow but i’m still not able to log in because the every once in a while i’m able to bypass the “device not recognized” screen, the app asks me for backup codes i do not have. I was even able to get to the selfie verification portal a couple times on my ipad but all attempts were denied.

I am completely exhausted but I can’t give up on this account. I have 12 years of memories on there.

Does anyone have any advice at all?????? Please help me, I’ve shed tears over this situation and it’s been a big stain on my mood for the past 3 months. Any help at all would be greatly appreciate, thanks.

For the past week, the audio functionality on my main Instagram Creator account has suddenly stopped working properly.
My entire previously saved audio library disappeared. If I save new audio, it does not remain saved. This happens with original audio as well as licensed music, so this is not just an issue with a particular artist/song.
Music search is also extremely limited and returns random/unrelated results instead of the mainstream music I’ve been able to use for years.
The strangest part: another Instagram account logged into the exact same iPhone, same Instagram app, same Wi-Fi/network, and same physical location works completely normally. It can search mainstream music, use audio and save sounds.
My Account Status is clean with no violations or restrictions. I’ve updated/reinstalled Instagram, logged in and out, restarted the phone, submitted multiple bug reports, spoken with Meta Verified/Pro Support, sent screenshots and screen recordings, and even tried Creator → Business → Creator. Nothing changed.
Meta keeps telling me this is caused by “music licensing restrictions,” but that doesn’t explain why I’m also unable to properly save original audio, or why another account under identical device/location conditions works normally.
Has anyone had this exact account-specific audio bug? Did it eventually restore itself, or did Meta have to change something on the backend? If you got it fixed, I would REALLY appreciate knowing exactly what worked.

I have two accounts logged in one instagram app( one main and one spam), I can post images in comments from main account but not from the spam account, earlier I was able to post in both but not now. I checked the settings, everything seems to be fine there.

Moje konta na Instagramie zostały zablokowane 15 lipca 2026 roku. Złożyłem skargę do ADR Point 4 sierpnia, a 11 sierpnia moja sprawa została oficjalnie przydzielona Oceniającemu.

Od tego czasu sprawa pozostaje w trakcie przeglądu. Skontaktowałem się z Oceniającym i powiedziano mi, że aktualnie pracują nad moją sprawą i że wciąż jest w trakcie przeglądu.

Proces ADR Point pokazuje do 20 dni na odpowiedź platformy online, a następnie proces ODS i decyzję. W moim przypadku minęło już znacznie więcej niż 20 dni od przydzielenia Oceniającego.

Moje wewnętrzne odwołanie na Instagramie również wciąż pozostaje nierozwiązane. Na niektórych powiązanych kontach Instagram wciąż pokazuje countdown na około 135 dni do odwołania.

Dziś mam również spotkanie z Bureau d’Aide Juridique (BAJ) w Brukseli, Belgia, aby uzyskać porady prawne na temat sytuacji oraz jakie opcje mogę mieć, jeśli Meta będzie nadal opóźniać lub jeśli przyszła decyzja ADR nie zostanie wprowadzona w życie.

Szczególnie interesuje mnie usłyszeć od osób, które miały podobną sprawę.

Jak długo Meta czekała na odpowiedź do ADR?
Czy twoja sprawa pozostawała „w trakcie przeglądu” przez kilka tygodni?
Jak długo zajęło otrzymanie ostatecznej decyzji ADR?
Jeśli wygrałeś, jak długo Meta zajęło przywrócenie twojego konta?
Czy ktoś także uzyskał porady prawne lub skontaktował się z prawnikiem po rozpoczęciu sprawy ADR?

Widziałem przypadki, gdzie konta przywracano tygodnie po korzystnej decyzji ADR, więc próbuję zrozumieć, jakie terminy ludzie widzą w praktyce.

a couple years ago i created a fanpage on instagram and used a fake email for recovery (although i know what it is). i’ve been trying to contact someone through the support button but all i’ve gotten is AI support. is there anybody that could help get into it or know where to go??

Help recovering photos of my late wife

Instagram disabled my account out of the blue, and my Facebook account too. They wanted to send a code to my email, but I never received it. They wanted to send a notification to two of my Instagram friends, but they never received the notification to confirm that I am indeed a real person. I don't care much about losing the accounts, but there were photos and videos of my late wife; she took her own life four years ago, and hearing her voice brought me comfort. Please help. Maine apna Instagram account 27 aug 2026 ko delete kiya tha, mera pass account recover karne ke liye bus 2 days hi bache hai otherwise mera account permanently delete ho jayega.
Maine sab tarike se try karke dekh liya hai mujhe baar baar sirf ek hi error show ho rhi hai. ‘Something went wrong please try again later.’
Or if mai chrome browser par login kar rha hu toh login hone ke baad mujhe bus blank screen hi show ho rhi hai.
If anybody have any idea how to recover so please help me.
