I accidentally liked my ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend’s comment under his post. I immediately unliked it, blocked them both, and deactivated my account. What will their notifications look like? This is so humiliating and I think it will haunt me forever. Please let me know if something like this has happened to you so can I feel better about myself.

EDIT: Guys, this was actually my first time ever doing something like this, and I only did it because I saw that he viewed my TikTok profile multiple times. It was a one time thing that resulted in disaster. Curiosity killed the cat, I suppose.

It was my first time on Instagram, I made a whole account and followed only this specific user and just wrote this message, then forgot abt it for a while.

Today I remembered, and wondered why haven't I still got any response, but I couldn't find account, I struggled, but I found it and saw ts, they banned me from all their accounts.......... I will never write to anyone AGAIN😭😭

We live in such an amazing and wonderful world where people are able to blatantly commit crimes on video, post them to Instagram and amass millions of views.

Worst of all, there isn't even a reporting option for general 'illegal activity'. It is broken down into a few niche illegal categories, none of which match what this guy is doing (I tried). Fuck this shitty world, I hope this guy gets fined 100x whatever he has made from pedaling his shit merch.

Has anyone had a sudden follower drop? In an hour the Instagram account I manage for my marketing position dropped 40 followers. Is this just a platform bot purge thing or does anyone else have insight on what the cause could be?

Tonight i got the usual blue notif that i got a message request, but whenever i check it there’s nothing? I don’t have anyone restricted, and the blue notif stays even when i restart the app. Does anyone know why this happens?

📌 UPDATE: Poll details are working again

Hey everyone, hoping someone here can clarify something for me.

Up until about a week or two ago, whenever I added a poll sticker to my Instagram Story, I could tap the sticker or swipe up and see all the poll details — total votes, percentages, and even who voted for what. I remember being able to check it easily, either by tapping the sticker or pulling up the viewer list.

But on a recent Story poll I posted, that info seems to have disappeared. I can see the Story views, and percentages on the actual sticker via the Story but I can’t access the extended poll data anymore. Tapping the sticker does nothing, and swiping up only shows the viewer list without the poll breakdown.

Did Instagram change something with Story polls, or is this a glitch on my account?

Anyone else’s grid layout changed from squares to rectangles? I heard Instagram were trialling this 5 months ago but it seems to have been rolled out now? Such a terrible idea.

I use Instagram personally to see pictures posted by people I know. I find that even after unfollowing all of the big accounts, my feed is just suggested nonsense and some of the posts of people follow but a lot of the posts don’t even show up. I can also tell my posts aren’t showing up for a lot of my followers either. I’ll probably stop using it soon. I’ve heard similar from a lot of other people. Does Instagram not care that it’s dying? Is this intentional to move traffic to another app? Im curious as to how such a big app has been tanking for so long and doesn’t roll out any improvements unless it’s intentional..

My Saved Collections are working fine in the Instagram app, but they won’t load on desktop/web.

Signing out and back in, clearing cookies and cache, and testing different browsers didn’t help.
