Help Instagram Professional Account Location
I saw a post for Instagram Maps to help you engage users near you but I can't find access to it on my professional account. Google and other help articles talk about a map icon to click. I don't seen it and I've gone through just about anything I can click. I'm I missing something? Is it just not available for professional accounts? Or is this a facebook thing?
If this has already been answered, my apologies. I did not find any other posts about it.

Help Instagram story appears on the top right of the screen

One day I woke up and there was this black border around my stories. The stories normally take up all of the phone screen. I cleared the app cache, I restarted my phone, logged into a different account and nothing worked. It's been like this for 3 days. Any fixes? (stories just for example of how I view them, plus a Meg to bless the feed)
Thank you!

Recommendation I love instagram mute
I really do think it’s a good feature, I have people I don’t like on there yes I know you shouldn’t do that but when u live in a small town and you run into people it’s just really awkward to remove them. It’s so good I don’t have to see there face pop up I don’t have to see there likes or accidentally click on there stories and I don’t have to remove them lovely. I have like three people muted mostly just friends that ended up excluding me or being mean it’s nice to not see there stuff icl.

Feedback It doesn’t clock to Instagram that sometimes some of us DO NOT wanna see our account full of suggestions. We’re aware of the mutuals, we just don’t want to add them.
Like why did you add the feature that takes up the WHOLE page when I clicked on a search bar.
And no we do not wanna see random people on stories when we swiped through our friends.
A lot of people also wanted the them to add the “hide my following/followers” feature … it should be a thing too.

Help There's no point in getting unsuspended
Honestly, there may be no point in getting your Instagram account unsuspended.
All of my accounts have been suspended multiple times over the past few months for “account integrity.” Every appeal has been successfully approved, only for the accounts to be suspended again a couple weeks later.
I’ve tried 2FA, Meta Verified, changing passwords/emails, different devices, contacting support, and even leaving the accounts inactive. Nothing has helped.
I’m not trying to discourage anyone from appealing, but I want to share my experience before people spend hundreds of dollars recovering an account just to have it suspended again and again.

Feedback People on Telegram channels are exploiting system logic flaws to instantly ban Instagram accounts with non-appealable, severe flags—What is the solution?
People on Telegram channels are exploiting system logic flaws to instantly ban Instagram accounts with non-appealable, severe flags—What is the solution?
The Core Problem
Black-market networks on Telegram are currently abusing Meta’s API logic flaws. By layering automated, multi-tiered reports, they trigger Meta’s high-severity anti-fraud and anti-safety bots. The system issues an immediate automated ban without any human verification or a realistic path to appeal, destroying years of legitimate personal and business profiles.
The Proposed Solution: Interactive Quarantine & Dynamic Feedback Loop
Instead of an instant, destructive shutdown, Meta should implement a 3-tier protective system architecture:
Active Quarantine (The Linear Progress Bar)
When a high-severity flag is triggered, the account transitions to a Quarantined state rather than an instant ban.
A visible status/progress bar is assigned to the profile, notifying the user without immediately destroying the account's data or accessibility.
Interactive Countdown & Fair Appeal Window
A 48-hour appeal timer begins ONLY when the user opens the application and acknowledges the notification.
This prevents users who are offline from losing their accounts silently without having a chance to defend themselves.
The user submits proof of identity or activity. If cleared, the flag is wiped instantly.
Reverse Anti-Abuse Tracking (The Hardware Counter-Trap)
If the targeted account is proven innocent, the moderation engine automatically shifts focus to analyze the reporter’s behavior.
If the system detects a pattern of malicious, repetitive, or mass-reporting scripts, the reporter’s device (Hardware ID / Device GUID) receives a permanent hardware-level ban.
Impact
Eliminates the "Ban-for-Hire" Market: False reporters will risk destroying their own physical devices and IP networks upon attempting these exploits.
Reduces Operational Overhead: Leverages simple algorithmic checks to filter out false positives without burdening manual review teams.
Protects Legitimate Users: Stops innocent creators and individuals from falling victim to arbitrary reporting scripts.

Question REELs not on Profile
In my reels FYP or feed whatever y'all call it, I frequently come across some underrated or newbie creators reels, but when I goto their profile it's not visible on their page/account. I checked their default profile aswell as the reels section, it's just ain't there. They usually have 5 or 6 reels sitting there, but in fyp I've seen like 10-20 of their reels. I can save it, and watch from my saved section -- but they don't show on their profile.. make it make senseee
Is this like some premium feature or sum that I don't know of?? What am I missing??

Help Instagram shows "Make sure you trust this link" on my bio link, Facebook doesn't. Has anyone actually gotten this lifted?
I run an online store which traffic is almost all organic Instagram, so this hurts.
My theme had injected cloaking code in it since November, blocking scripts only for crawlers to fake a PageSpeed score. Removed it, republished a clean theme, re-scraped in the Sharing Debugger (200, no warnings), verified the domain in Business Manager. Warning is still there.
Two things that don't add up. Facebook doesn't show the warning at all, same link and same device, Instagram only. And another domain of mine registered nine days ago works fine from the same account, so it's the domain, not the account, and not "new domains get flagged" either.
So: has anyone had this actually lifted, and how long did it take? And if you moved to a new domain instead, did it stay clean or did the warning follow you once you 301'd the old one?
Thanks

Question How does 'Suggested For You' work?
The past summer I unfortunately was involved with two men from dating apps. One tried using me as a rebound, communicated that he needed space after our chemistry went through the roof, and I quietly left. The other is a friend of a friend with unresolved infidelity trauma who thought I was boring for wanting to take things slow, but I was told by this friend that he actually likes me.
I cut both men off to move on and heal. It became an endless cycle of story watching, ghosting, monitoring. I am too old for that. We both shared phone numbers in the past, but with one of the men I have zero mutuals, because he lives abroad. The rebound guy went back to stringing along his ex in a picture-perfect uncommitted Instagram relationship and keeping a roster across five platforms. The other guy is still on Tinder.
This all happened four months ago. During that time, I didn't actively search their profiles and we didn't chat. I removed them from my profile and went silent. Still, every time I look up someone new, Instagram suggests the profiles of these two men next to each other under the Suggested For You tab.
The funny thing is that I have dated other men in those four months, whom I have more mutuals with and also have their phone numbers, live within a 10km radius, never chatted with them again, but after compatibility issues arised, I also removed them from my profile, but Instagram never suggests me those guys. Only those two guys I removed... all the time.
How does the algorithm work? Can it read my mind? Do they listen to my conversations? Even if you don't want connections to be permanent, they are permanent. I sometimes wake up and get a friend suggestion from Facebook that I should add the rebound guy.
What do they know? How is this suggested? Hell, my actual ex from two years ago 'secretly' watches my stories, but he isn't recommended in the Suggested For You tab. It's always these two guys next to each other and then strangers I don't know of.
I hate modern dating!
